Great hotel with fabulous views and hospitality

This hotel is on the lake shore and you've got your own rocky beach to take in the sun or swim in the lake. We swan every day as the sun was shining and the lake it very tempting. Grit your teeth, the waters are rather "bracing". Jorge and Maria made our 4 day stay very special. We had the evening meal each night, no options on what mains you were getting, but the days menu is on the board so you know what's coming. Always well prepared and presented. The hotel is well located for exploring the southern lakes if you've got a car. We loved Lago Marscardi and afternoon tea at the Hotel Tronador.

Right On The Water With Outstanding Vistas

We liked everything about the lodge and would highly recommend this property. Our double room, although not large, was clean and comfortable. The highlight of this waterfront lodge is the property itself, which offers magnificent views of the water and nearby mountains. There are several stoney beaches within a short walk of the lodge, including the one at the lodge itself, which provide great opportunities for swimming, kayaking, windboarding or simply enjoying the incredible vistas. Also, the lodge, which is very well run by Jorge and his wife, offers a variety of well prepared meals at reasonable rates. If you prefer to eat out, there is a pizza restaurant in the nearby village,which aside from pizza, has amazing empanadas. Thie location is probably more suited to those with a vehicle although it is possible to use public transportation for trips to and from Bariloche (approx. 45min).

Fabulous setting on Lake Gutierrez

This is a fabulous small inn on the lakeshore of Gutierrez Lake. Fabulous setting and wonderful management. Great breakfasts and a respite from the madness of Bariloche. Worth going to if you have a car.

Friendly, peaceful lakeside hotel

We stayed 9 nights in this very pleasant hotel. We loved it. The managers were excellent, friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It is excellent value for money. We were lucky to spend Xmas and new year there, which was a pleasure as they made it a real family affair. The evening meals were very good and the celebration meals a delicious treat. The public areas are comfortable and it has a great terrace overlooking the lake. It has a lovely garden to relax in after a day exploring/hiking. The small private beach is perfect for swimming, be warned the water is cold. The location is perfect if, like us, you prefer peace and quiet. It's approx.30min bus ride into busy Bariloche. In high season it's easy to get around by bus, there is a regular service. We were sad to leave, thank you for a great stay.

Justo lo que necesitábamos, un lugar para alejarnos y relajarnos. Este lodge esta en las afueras de la Cd de Bariloche y cuenta con una hermosa vista, trato amable y la cama estaba realmente cómoda.
