Beautiful home in the mountains of Tuscony

We loved the home and location. It was a ton of fun with our family. The host could provide a few more essentials and also maybe offer to buy some food basics. We arrive around 7pm to a remote are of Tuscany with no groceries or stores nearby. They did not have coffee or a coffee machine in the house. So, when we woke up the next morning we had nothing to eat. The host could have offered this and charged us. If you are looking for a rural Tuscany experience... it's amazing.

Das Haus ist echt super, der Pool ist riesig und auch ziehmlich tief! Die Zimmer haben alles was man braucht, sind sauber und die Betten waren alle total bequem! Küche usw. Ist auch total gut ausgestattet und man hat dort wirklich seine Ruhe. Das einzige was ein bisschen schwierig war, ist tatsächlich der Weg, man fühlt sich wie bei einer OffRoad Tour, aber man gewöhnt sich daran wenn man 1-2 mal hoch und runter gefahren ist. Was ich aber empfehlen kann ab dem Feldweg nicht mehr mit Google Maps zu fahren, da ist der richtige Weg nähmlich garnicht drin, das Haus ist ab da auch ausgeschildert! In der Nähe gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und ein bisschen weiter auch einen großen. In Florenz und Sienna ist man sehr schnell und in der Gegend gab es auch einige Restaurants. Die Gastgeberin war total nett und eine gratis Flasche eigenen Wein zum probieren gab es auch! Also alles in allem wirklich ein großartiger Ort zum entspannen.

Schönes, geräumiges Haus für 8 - 10 Personen. Super grosser Garten mit wunderbarem Pool. 1 bis 2 Schatten spendende Bäume wären wünschenswert.

Sauberes, einfaches Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage mit tollem Pool

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr ruhig inmitten von Olivenbäumen und Chianti-Weinbergen, die zum Teil von den Vermietern bewirtschaftet werden. Die Anfahrt führt über einen ziemlich steilen Schotterweg, der aber gut zu meistern ist. Ratsam ist, das Haus von Mercantale aus am Sportplatz/Friedhof anzufahren. Unser Navi/Handy hatte uns trotz der mitgeteilten Koordinaten im Stich gelassen und die empfohlene Strecke war etwas für off-road-Liebhaber. Nichts für einen normalen Kombi. Das Haus war sehr sauber und geräumig, allerdings auch ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Die Badewanne ist sehr klein und allenfalls für Kleinkinder nutzbar. Die beiden Duschen wirken auf den ersten Blick etwas ungewöhnlich, erfüllen aber prima ihren Zweck. Der Poll ist sehr schön und groß. Außerdem ist er so tief, dass man auch richtig darin schwimmen kann. Leider ist der WLAN-Empfang am Pool sehr schwach. Die Vermieterin Paola ist ausgesprochen herzlich und sehr nett. Sie hat uns hauseigenen Wein und Eier vorbeigebracht und am letzten Tag hat ihr Vater, der eine kleines Restaurant in Florenz betreibt, sogar für uns sehr lecker gekocht. Florenz ist in ca 30min erreichbar, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ca. 15 min entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl dort gefühlt.

Herrliche Lage und wunderbar entspannender Urlaub

Das Ferienhaus liegt herrlich ruhig und hat alles, was man zu einem entspannenden Urlaub braucht. Besonders Garten und Pool sind perfekt. Die Anfahrt ist etwas schwierig und um Restaurants oder nahe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu nutzen, wird ein Auto benötigt. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
