We woke up to ants next to our bed. Our phone was not working so i had to use my cell phone to inform front desk to send maintenence to spray our room. My granddaughter even got bit as she was closest to the middle table where the ants were. We were dissapointed as we've used Best Western several times already. It was definitely a worry going into night two as i noticed 3 more ants roaming around after it was sprayed.

The cleaning staff was very helpful and friendly. In contrast, was hoping for a microwave to be accessible in the room. Additionally, we weren't notified, until last minute, that palm trimming was going to occur during our stay. Sleep was interrupted during our last day due to that but aside from that a pleasant stay.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Seven Seas in San Diego, and unfortunately, my experience fell well below expectations, especially compared to other Best Western locations I’ve previously visited. Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed several cleanliness and maintenance issues. The chair at the desk had not been cleaned and another chair near the door had a visible hole in it. The room was extremely dusty, and the carpet had multiple dark spots throughout. There was a persistent strange odor in the room, and both the bedding and towels, though white, were visibly stained, as was the shower curtain. In addition, the bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut unless pushed with full body weight, and water still ended up on the bathroom floor even with the curtain in place. The mini fridge was not turned on prior to our arrival so items could not be placed in at our arrival, which was inconvenient, and several electrical outlets in the room did not work. Trash cans were provided, but none were lined with trash bags. Basic amenities such as towels I was told via text had to be picked up at the front desk, but when I got to the desk they said only pool towels, miscommunication may for an unwanted trip to the front for no reason, they did end up delivering them, but I had to wait in my room for them to get to me, even though I was ready to leave. From a customer service standpoint, while no staff member was verbally rude, one front desk attendant made me feel quite uncomfortabl

Not a good option for any solo traveling woman. The hall ways are dim lit, the elevators are slow and questionable. The staff was very sweet, but I did not feel safe. Additionally, my TV didn’t work and my room was missing the iron. I had to ask the housekeeper to borrow one from a vacant room.

We locked our keys in the room when we left (completely our fault), and we had to go to the front office to get a new one, but what they didn't tell us, was that they turned off the other keys causing me and my daughter to get locked out with the key we had, good key was with my husband who was getting food and had to go back to the front desk and wait in a huge line because of check in and I was frustrated because they didn't communicate this about the other key being turned off and my child had to use the restroom.
