First room we got was dirty. The bathtub was full of dirt and scum. Had to request to switch rooms. The second room was better.

The property needs some upgrades. The sliding glass door in the room was in bad shape. The location is great. The staff was friendly. Just time for some remodeling.

The most disappointing was that they stopped doing the daily boat rides. It’s only on Sundays now. Super disappointing! The bottom unit we were in had trash along the back patio walkway that stayed there the entire time we were there. It wasn’t our trash.

On a positive note, the hotel lobby felt like you are in Hawaii. Lots of fun activities and restaurant dining by the bay. However, the hotel is outdated and needs a major renovation.

Right on Mission Bay so you can sit in the hotel's beach chairs and enjoy the view. Nice size pool and hot tub. Game room is by the pool and all of the games are free!!! Beautiful lobby with waterfalls. Grounds are well kept with beautiful landscaping. There is a pathway system connecting the various buildings and along the way, you'll see waterways with fish and turtles and exotic birds. Lots of activities each day for the kids (all included in the price). Be aware that the daily hotel/room price does NOT include parking. That is an extra cost. However, in addition to being located on Mission Bay, the Pacific Ocean is on the other side of the street. Excellent location in that it is right on the Bay and across the street from the beach (Pacific Ocean), but also near Sea World, the Zoo, Balboa Park, Sunset Cliffs, Coronado, etc.

incredible. beautiful space, beautiful area. there were lots of families, and during the day it can get kind of hectic, with kids running around everywhere. so if that's a deal maker or breaker, something to consider.
