We was very impressed with this hotel. Hotel was in a great location, everything was walking distance. Hotel was elegant, staff was polite and professional and made us feel comfortable. The amenities was great with a welcome cocktail, daily breakfast and all day snacks and coffee. And top it all off the price was good! I would recommend this Hotel to everyone.

Okay Granger Hotel, I fell for the clever marketing - the welcome cocktail, euro style breakfast in a parlor atmosphere, hand-crafted coffee drinks, the "snacks" closet in the hall and small but well appointed rooms. You fell short. The guest rooms are indeed small and because of the diminutive size, put form over function. No storage in the bedroom or bathroom. Further, the barn style bathroom door couldn't shut because it hit the baseboard, leaving a 2 inch opening. No privacy. The cocktail would have been welcomed, had a bartender been on shift during check-in time. Also, the hallway snack and beverage closet sounds good in theory but, I sure missed an in-room coffee maker. Getting a morning cup from the communal coffee machine required dressing first. The pod espresso machine in the closet misfired 50 % of the time. During our overnight stay, the closet contained a bus tub full of used cups but no clean ones plus, the floor below was littered with the crank dispensed snacks (nuts and candy). We looked forward to enjoying an hand-crafted coffee drink during the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast may have been complimentary but the coffee drinks were not. Nor were the pastries. The breakfast was appalling. Dried out scrambled eggs and cold tater tots. We counted 3 slices of white bread to toast. No bagels or pastries. The food was not being freshened. "Free" coffee served in paper cups. No one was clearing tables, restricting seating to the couches. Disappointing.

The room was adequate but small. Breakfast was quite good. The most disappointing feature was the totally inadequate TV options. No recognizable options, no real entertainment value. Totally worthless
