Took forever to check in with only one person in front of me. They need more people working to help out at the front desk. Room was clean but dated. Mini fridge only operates for 2 hours at a time according to the button and wasn’t cold upon checking in. Hotel is next to an old tagged up body shop. SUPER noisy I could hear everything above me and sounded like running non stop for an hour in the morning. Then I check out and the parking spots are so tight that some inconsiderate guest parked so close to my drivers side that I couldn’t get into my car and had to crawl through my passenger side. What if I physically wasn’t able to do that?? Good thing I was only there a night. Won’t be returning. For over $300 per night in a non holiday or major event weekend, ridiculous!

Hampton is my choice for comfort hotel. Complimentary breakfast is a plus amenity. The only thing is pillows really need replacement and would be nice to have new blankets, too!

When we first arrived late at night, we noticed several homeless individuals outside the parking lot, which immediately made me feel uneasy. During check-in, I asked the front desk if the area was safe, and the staff member told me to be cautious at night due to nearby homeless activity and even mentioned concerns about sex trafficking. That really alarmed me and made me feel unsafe from the start. The hotel itself felt very outdated and worn down. Our first room was located near an exit door and was extremely noisy throughout the night. The condition of the room was also old and uncomfortable, so I requested to be moved. The front desk accommodated my request and assured me the new room had been renovated — but it looked just as outdated as the first one. Overall, I did not feel safe or comfortable during my stay, and I wouldn’t return or recommend this hotel to others.

$26 dollars for parking and with a Homeless camp in front of property. One of the gentleman from said camp was coming in and eating from the breakfast the property offers. Mold behind the bathroom mirrors and small rooms with old furniture. They did give us a refund for the second night we did not stay.

Loved the place

The place was in a great location a few minutes away from old town San Diego . The hotel had friendly staff and the atmosphere felt safe , i definitely will be coming back . The only thing was that near the entrance area the vacant building next door had a few homeless with trash .
