ok stay/No refunds at the property-air cancellatio

It was a little pricey in my opinion for the basic stay, but it could be the location and pricing in San Diego. I was also disappointed that the owners do not honor 'acts of god' types of changes that occur. You pay for your room up front and will not get a refund or mention of credit for a future stay even if your flight is cancelled because of a freak dust storm in our town of ABQ. We were cancelled then rebooked and couldn't get a connection on the second flight because of a second delay since the wind picked up again. So we came in the next morning. We didn't make the breakfast that was included in the room rate (got there right after 9:30am). Frankly the breakfasts were not very impressive- not as many 'protein' choices- nuts for cereals nor peanut butter for bread. I think for the same price (or less) I would get fresh waffles and protein at Days Inn. It also seems they need to hire a second attendant for breakfasts because of some of the rushes of people, it was harder to keep things stocked. The mattress was a little hard. I will probably not stay there again because of their refund policy and mediocre stay.

Stayed 5 nights. Convenient drive to the convention center for the Birding Festival. Breakfast was adequate with egg dishes, sausages, cereals and oatmeal, and more. Bed and pillows were very comfortable! Easy walk to Rubio's Coastal Grill (taco shop, and they DO have healthier "bowl" options), and across the street to the very good Lanna Thai Cuisine. (Call ahead, ask politely.)

It isn’t the fanciest hotel But it definitively did its job. It was close to sea world there were lots of dinner options nearby and plenty of parking. The breakfast was minimal but that was fine for us. Overall we would go Back because it had everything we needed and the price was right.
