Beautiful hotel poor service

When we first arrive, we got there 30 minutes before check-in, which is understandable to have to wait till check-in, but there is a way to go about it not telling us to find something to do till three. Also, we were told 10 was quiet time because there’s business people there and as I waited for other families came to check in and they were not told about the 10 PM quiet time. I never take things personal, but I had a call front desk every night. I was there due to hearing running in the hallways, kids yelling, and screaming. Yasmin was the person that checked me in. I think she needs a little more mentoring

Property is fine, it does look a bit outdated. One thing Inhad an issue with was the lack of helpfulness by management. We had to change our itinerary and leave early they would not allow us to get a refund, partial refund or some kind of courtesy because we were already in penalty zone. Two days before our arrival. Expedia folks tried working it out and had an arrangement with the hotel to do a separate booking with the same hotel for the new dates once I did that they decided not to honor the agreement because Expedia's rate was lower than Holiday Inns rate. (Whole reason why I went whit Expedia) and expedia had to refund me the new booking. Not a good experience overall but I did appreciate the expedia agent trying to help me out. This Holiday Inn is lousy at customer satisfaction. More importantly for them to keep making money!

Friendly staff, very clean facilities. Nice pool and spa (that works). Upgraded amenities and one of the most comfortable bed and pillow I have ever slept on in any hotel! Relatively easy access to local stores and dining with both main interstate highways next to the hotel. It’s near the airport but it was pretty quiet at night. Single elevator and small. Off season so prices were very good. Overall a great place to stay. We prefer IHG Holiday Inn Express for these reasons. Highly recommend the hotel.

We were not notified that the elevator was not working, we got booked on the third floor even though I asked nicely to the front desk staff if she could move us to ground floor and she said she could not that if we wanted to leave we can look for another hotel, I think that was extremely rude and unprofessional, the front desk staff was just live-less and somewhat seem robotic, we had traveled 8 hours from Arizona to be received that way with no form of consideration to our needs she just shrugged it off. A little more of training and empathy that is what they need. The breakfast staff saved the day, I will have to say the ladies there were so nice to everyone always smiling and eager to help in whatever anyone needed.

Everything was excellent except that I received one day before of my stay an email saying that the elevator didn't work, so we made a lot exercise those days, we were in the third floor. The staff was always very friendly, the breakfast was great, the rooms comfortable and clean, the pool was heated it was a great plus. The hotel had an excellent location, we were close of everything we made.

Nice hotel and close to SeaWorld

Hotel was clean and quiet .even though it was right next to the freeway on ramp. Pool was warm and was in just the right location for SeaWorld.

The furniture was bad shape, sofa was torn and discolored. And for some weird reason they had an inch of gap under the door to my room, so that I could hear everything going on in the hotel. Having my room right next to the drain didn't help either. Not to mention the big aircon unit INSIDE the room. Oh and the elevators were no working but my room was only on the first floor, so can't really complain. Although the property itself was actually decent, but the neighborhood was definitely sketchy.

Great stay!

Great service, different variations for breakfast. Very comfy beds. Welcoming staff as well. Downside was the elevator not working but that didn’t matter with the great service and clealiness
