We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, clean and modern home! We fit 2 families in this home comfortably. The room with 2 full beds was large enough to fit 5 kids/teens. We did bring a queen air mattress and there was still enough room for 1 more. There was enough bath towels and beach towels for everyone. We utilized the washer/dryers as well. We appreciated the cleanliness of the home as well as the modern touches. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Even had a meat thermometer, which we used for our steak dinner! There were lots of games for the kids to play and they were in good condition. The Avant staff was also amazing at communication through text and made our stay stress free. I also appreciated that they offered us a late checkout without us even asking! It made our last day less stressful. Lastly, the location was perfect! We were only minutes away from Mission bay and enjoyed our morning walks. It’s also very close to Ocean beach where all the great eateries are.
Cons: There was a sewer smell in the house but the staff instructed us to open the windows and turn on the fans to let the house air out, which did help. The jacuzzi jets weren’t all functional and the fire pit knob was broken so we were unable to make our smores. I did notify the staff about these minor details.
Overall, I would definitely stay in this home again!
