The setting was spectacular, and the location is great for exploring. The rooms are well equipped and appointed, the staff is friendly and responsive, and the food was great. Our only issue with the room was that the Keurig coffee maker was kind of in a corner where there was no lighting. Adding a lighting option in that area would be a big help, especially when one room occupant awakens first and wants to get coffee in the morning. One other thing which was disconcerting is the charge for parking within the hotel. At $44/day, that cost adds up in a hurry! But then again, parking is indeed hard to find in the area...

This is an absolutely wonderful property. Rooms are large with large patios. Pool and hot tub are well heated. Service is above and beyond. They gave us Beach chairs and towels.... Had breakfast boxed... And had a family breakfast on the beach!

Service was really exceptional. Location was fantastic, and despite being right on the boardwalk and being on the first floor, it was very quiet and you could not hear anything from the room. Super close to Pacific Beach spots for restaurants. Hotel has bikes (including for kids!) that can be used and also has beach chairs and toys for the kids. Highly recommended.
