The room was perfect. After a very long day of travel, our VRBO Host cancelled our reservation at the last moment. An agent found a comfy room at The Wayfarer. The night host, Blaze and security guard Rick went out of their way to make us feel welcome and took excellent care of us! Our daughter lives in San Diego,so we have often walked past the wall murals at your place...imagine after a tough day yesterday - waking up in a comfy bed, making a cup of coffee, and sitting on the balcony to look at the beautiful mural and ocean....I can not say enough for the kindness we received from your staff! We WILL definitely be back!

Clean room with comfortable sofa. Items for sale at the cafe and in the room (eg bottled water) are expensive compared to other places. Parking is secure under building but expensive ($40 per day). Good choice of coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance.

my 2nd time staying here and love the location. I would have given 5 stars EXCEPT for the phone call I received at 7:30 am to move my car in the garage due to construction, I was beyond inconvenienced and couldn’t fall back asleep AFTERWARDS.

We didn’t have a beach view but enjoyed our visit in the off-season when it is thankfully quiet, the staff is nice and helpful, coffee shop convenient for husband has-to-have am coffee. On promenade and close to many restaurants and cafes, grocery store, etc. Narrowest parking spots I have seen since NYC pay to park garages, bring your smallest vehicle.
