Room offered a fire pit- with no instructions or guidance how to get it turned on. Front desk offered free parking voucher- but in order to exit the parking you had to pay. Room service deliverer was super rude and almost seemed annoyed she had to deliver to me. They also double charged me and still haven’t refunded me for the food.

A San Diego Resort in need of TLC

The resort grounds are well maintained and the landscaping is beautiful. The pool is sparkling. Lobby is attractive. The rooms however are very tired and in desperate need of upgrading Bathroom/shower is so small you can barely turn around. In-room coffee service needs housekeeping to pay attention to restocking decaf and zero sugar sweeteners. It would also be nice to have a “snack tray” available in the room to purchase items for late night munchies as restaurants close at 9pm, and a call to the front desk yielded salads and yogurt parfaits only! The restaurants: Lappers by the pool serves lunch and dinner. Food was okay for lunch and French fries were really good. Arlo is for breakfast and dinner and was decent at least for breakfast. Hint don’t order sausages as they are huge, Polish size and have an odd flavor. Smoked bacon is a way better choice, prepared crisp. Overall I would give the resort a 5 out of 10. Needs improvement but the basics are there.

Room was spare and cold, the bathroom tiny and a bit sloppy like a cheaply done renovation. Remote was dead upon my arrival and tv signal disconnected - engineering fixed and replaced remote but it randomly disconnected later. Wood floor and hard interior shutters that never fully block out light. No bottled water and god forbid you have anything delivered they try to get you to pay for their package handling service.

This place is amazing in our opinion for families but ones of all kinds yes even with your infant and three Agee nice dinner spot to visit once the kids are down and grandma is watching them also really nice bar and coffee shop in the area

The room was not sufficiently cleaned. Nightstands & table had food residue left on it. There was no blanket or comforter on the bed. When one was given to me. It didn’t appear to be clean & there was hair on it. The property itself was very nice.

The place is 5star. The front desk Vivian doesn’t want yo give the upgrade. She said upgrade is available but with fee and as well of late check out. I got the upgrade bec expedia rep did a refund instead just to get my perks. She said to get late out i have to call them first before checking in
