Age and the staff was very helpful they will be starting renovations soon they have just purchased this property and have many plans on keeping the original entry and the old elevator also. Owner was on site and is a part of San Francisco culture and plan on keeping it that way according to them

I enjoyed my stay here with my family. The vibe is very nice and rustic. Feels safe on the street to enter even at night. For breakfast they had DIY pancakes, boiled eggs , bread, fruits , hot beverages and fresh orange juice. I was pleasantly surprised by the clean fresh bedsheets and towels. They have a cute sink, cutlery , fridge , microwave in the room. The staff is very kind and polite. Would 100% recommend for the location and affordable price.

There is really not accessible parking here. It’s incredibly narrow so you’ll likely scrape your car trying to get to the parking garage. That was the only downside- room was older but comfortable, the included breakfast was tasty, and the staff was great. We loved our stay
