Staff members were very nice. Rooms, i've been in 2 different types for 5 nights, were all very clean, well prepared, classic, cozy. So much better than what I expected looking at those pictures on the website when i was trying to find the hotel rooms. Just what I needed for my business trip.

Very basic, no amenities (not even a water bottle or glass cup) in the room. Room smelled musty, like stale cigarettes. Rooms are dingy, in need of fresh paint, furniture was chipped. Didn’t replace washcloths, qtips etc. Was gouged at $800+ per night due to Microsoft convention. All shortfalls were amplified due to price but wouldn’t stay here again.

The property itself was well kept, clean, and the staff was polite and attentive (KUDOS). #1) If you're an adult, the bunk beds my not work for you. I'd avoid it #2) The neighborhood gets pretty dicey once you head towards Market Street. BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS. #3) This property did NOT have refrigerators in the rooms so you may wind up putting yourself in danger if need to hit the convenience store for snacks. The neighborhood gets rough when you hit the corner

Very nice staff, convenient location in the center, but rooms are a bit small and dark, bed not very confortable, overall a bit old condition, but biggest issue is the noise from the night club and the street on the weekend.

You are in the Tenderloin and the neighborhood has it's characters, BUT I wasn't afraid to walk alone at night - I was just on alert. The hotel was very cute and staff was amazing. Love the shared kitchen/lounge area. Bed was comfy, clean and cozy. My only gripes, not much counter space for your toiletries and it would be nice if they updated the electrical units to accommodate USB/C's outlets like most hotels.And the rugs throughout the hotel looked pretty dirty so it gave me a first bad impression.- but NOT in the room- room was clean. I walked everywhere and it was convenient to many spots I wanted to go. A couple of blocks away from the Bart and very close to the Warfield theater. Tip: bring earplugs - the characters outside to get pretty loud and if you are a light sleeper - it can be an issue. Again, STAFF was super helpful and friendly.
