Overall, a decent place to stay near San Gimignano with lovely surroundings. The property has a beautiful garden and pool are and the breakfast was decent. That said, I was frustrated with the check-in process, the receptionist was also helping in the kitchen during dinner hour, so I had to wait quite a while to be checked in. Additionally, there was no one available to help with luggage, so I ended up carrying my bags up to the second floor myself. If you’re looking for a peaceful countryside stay with pretty grounds and don’t mind a bit of self-service, it’s a fine option. But service could be more attentive and organized, especially at check-in.

Excellent Stay

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint boutique hotel situated on beautiful grounds. Our room was spacious, clean and a lovely view. Outstanding breakfast included every morning. We also loved the location in the countryside just minutes from San Gimignano. Francesca and Luca were most hospitable! Highly recommend!

Great place!!! Super service!

Great place with lovely owners and smiling and welcoming crew. They helped us to find spacial places to visit Toscana such as wineries and beautiful cities near by. The location is very good for a star-trip in Toscana (every thing is 1-1.5 hours away and 5 min from San Gimignano). The view from the room is breathtaking. The room was very clean and also large enough (we travel with a 1 year old baby). We are very recommend the place, and sure we will be back.

What a great and freindly place this is to holiday. Fabulous location and with a simple yet elegant poise, the old mill has been superbly converted and is very comfortable. It's not 5* luxury, but doesn't claim to be, but it IS welcoming, friendly and (importantly) multi-lingual, which makes it So much easier for simple mono-language idiots like me. Highly....Extremely recommended.

Nice, quiet property in a remodeled mill. Nice pool, small restaurant on the premises. The facilities were updated and very good. The food was very good. The staff was OUTSTANDING, not only performing their jobs but helping us tremendously with our travel problems. The only negative was that a car is needed for everything off property, including sightseeing and restaurants in San Gimignano. We highly recommend the hotel and will use it on any return trip to Tuscany.

A little oasis

Outstanding and beautiful property in a gorgeous setting. Staff were super friendly and the place felt like it was our own. Pool and garden area is a little oasis outside the bigger towns.

Eine Woche entspannte heile Welt

Es war wundervoll. Sehr entspannend. Molino di Foci hat einen herrlichen Garten und den Pool. Tagsüber Getränke oder Snacks an den Pool oder Essbereich liefern lassen. Abends Menü, man wird verwöhnt. Das Team ist so freundlich und nett. Die Zimmer modern und sauber und werden jeden Tag gereinigt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Poderia ser melhor.

Embora a boa localização, sendo um hotel considerado de agroturismo, a chegada é um Pouco complicada.Os anfitriões são excelentes, atendem muito bem. O problema é que a partir de certo horário da noite a administração do hotel é fechada e não fica ninguém pra atender os hóspedes, como aconteceu comigo. Se você precisar de qualquer coisa, como prato, copo, um abridor, etc…esqueça a portaria fica fechada. E na minha estadia o ar condicionado não estava funcionando direito. o quarto ficava sempre muito quente. Reclamei, mas me disseram que não tinha o que fazer. Isso é ruim, porque o hote tem uma boa infraestrutura, com piscina, um jardim bem legal com muitas flores começando a abrir. Na Sei se é coisa de temporada, mas essa foi minha impressão.
