Well the property itself is nice BUT expensive. This morning around 8am while I was in deep sleep there was a guy with a blower going back and forth right outside my window. Then I was the housekeeper trying to come in around 9am when check out time is noon.

I was disappointed that check in time was 3pm however my room was not ready until after 5:30pm. I did like my room, though. Food was very pricey, clearly taking advantage of limited dining near hotel.

Loved the historic buildings, grounds and history. Not a fan of the food, but we didn't have the sandwiches or burgers. The $25 buffet breakfast was OK, chafing dishes left open , so cold eggs. Rooms (tried two) HAD NO HEAT! Got a portable, but why was it even sold.

Everything was great except parking in the back. It’s pitch black back there and very dangerous. The back door that goes to the area I would’ve needed to use is kept locked and it’s only used to exit. So I had to walk to another area in the dark each night. Not safe at all.

Beautiful property! Loved the room and the restaurant was excellent too. Lots of homeless in the area surrounding the hotel and they leave their garage and stuff everywhere which is a shame.
