My stay was an alright experience overall. The manager was very nice and friendly, and check-in was easy and quick. The manager also gave us a guest parking pass, which allowed us to park anywhere, and we received free cinnamon bun rolls from Frankie and Lola’s Front Street Café next door — I definitely recommend eating there for breakfast! The room itself was decent but could use some updates. We noticed damage to the wall, cracked shower tiles, a small hole under the bathroom mirror, and a broken restroom door handle. The AC and fan were also dusty. The rooms are not soundproof, so we could hear conversations from other guests. The bed was very uncomfortable. That said, the room felt cozy, and I understand the quality given that the price was cheap. The hotel’s location was a big plus — it’s within walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants, so we were able to walk instead of drive. Overall, it’s a 50/50 experience. I might stay again, mainly for the location and price.

This is a classic older beachfront hotel but it is very clean and quiet and the staff extremely friendly. Its very close to resturaunts and Morro Bay Rock! Pet friendly a plus🐾🐾

I love the location! just across street from the Otter Nursery & walking distance to Morro Rock & Embarcadero restaurants. The inn itself is old but still has some charm, a little garden inside.

The property was “fine”, we booked through Expedia, paid for the Delux Patio View King room but placed into a standard Queen. Unfortunately no one at the property was willing to give us a refund of the difference. We reached out to Expedia and they were also 100% unwilling to concede or refund us the difference in the price. So disappointed in the property and Expedia.

The high temp was 61 degrees. There was no heat source in the rooms. We were given a space heater. The rooms were not very clean like stains in carpet, bugs in window jams, and junk stored in closet; nor were the outside areas very pleasant which had spider webs and dead plants all around. Plus: convenient to water front and shopping. I would NOT pay to stay again.

Staff was welcoming, and check-in was easy. The hotel is right across from Morro Rock and we had a great view from our room. It is possible to walk to great restuants and Morro Rock from the property. There was plenty of parking avaliable. Room was no thrills but comfortable. It was possible to hear some noise from other rooms- conversations and the murmer of the TV.
