This was a good little inn right by the beach and walkable to the downtown area with restaurants and shops. The room was comfortable and clean and the wifi in my room was actually fine.

The room was great size, the view was excellent, the staff was extremely friendly. I will say this though, I found seven hairs 1 to 3 inches long in my bed under the comforter. I don’t know if the maids do this on purpose, but none the less it was gross. Maybe they should start making the housekeeping women wear hair nets although I don’t think this hair came from their head. I will stay there again but I will definitely be checking my bed at time of check-in next time and not late at night just before bed.

To begin, we knew this was an older hotel when we booked it, so we expected it to not be as updated or quiet as a newer hotel. However, just because a hotel is old. It does not mean it needs to be dirty. When we walked into our room, you can tell that it had not been cleaned very well. In the bathroom, there was hair on the toilet bathtub floor and even on the folded towels. When the sun shine in from the balcony, you could see all the dust all over the floor and furniture. In addition, the phone was completely dead and did not work. The door handle was very difficult to open each time we came in and out on top of that. We were on the second floor and the people above us anytime they walked it was very loud. We called to complain about it and they told us that the people had checked out and so we wouldn’t have that issue but then later in the afternoon we heard noises again and called and we’re told that someone else checked in. They did offer to send someone to clean the room and for us to change rooms. But we shouldn’t have had to do any of that when you check into A tell you should expect that it should at least be clean and things in working order. The only thing good about this hotel was the location and closeness to the pier. We will not be staying at this hotel next time.
