If you’re looking for picturesque views and relaxation Aruna is the place! You’ll fall in love with the staff before you reach the resort. It’s definitely paradise away from home, you won’t be disappointed. Once you meet Rose, Suzy, Jordy, his brother, Lorena, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about! The ambiance at Akasha is relaxing and upscale. The food is amazing and the staffs customer service exceeds all expectations. Make sure you meet Nelson, who is one of the bartenders. He makes the best drinks!!

We had a wonderful stay at Aruna Resort and Villas in Belize—truly a 10/10 experience from start to finish. The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and new, making it the perfect place to relax while still being close to everything in San Pedro. We loved having our own villa—it gave us space and privacy. The on-site restaurant, Akasha, was also a highlight. The food had beautiful presentation, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was really cool and relaxed. It was such a nice option to have right at the resort. The boat transfer to and from town was quick and convenient. It’s something to keep in mind when planning your stay, but we found it easy and it added to the unique experience of being at Aruna. What really made our stay exceptional was the staff. Josh, the boat captain, was fantastic—always friendly and helpful. Elias, one of the servers, provided outstanding service and was consistently warm, attentive, and welcoming. Lorena and Rose in the office were equally wonderful—so kind, attentive, organized, and helpful with anything we needed during our stay. Everyone on staff was great. The resort is conveniently located near Secret Beach, which made it easy to visit one of the island’s most popular spots. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. We would love to visit again and highly recommend!

This hotel was absolutely gorgeous and spacious came with a microwave, mini fridge, robes, slippers anything you needed was readily available the Staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcome they have a restaurant and on-site food was always on point. They offer a complimentary boat ride back into the town area literally 5 minutes they have a schedule but honestly if we were late or early you just message them and they were very accommodating to pick up they made dinner reservations for us on the town side made sure the boat was there to drop us off and pick us up. The hotel is away from the Hussle and Bussel of the town so very peaceful the pool is great but then its a 5 minute to explore the excitement of the town great hotel and location definitely recommend Thank you to Rose, Susy, Lorena and Deon you made our two days very enjoyable and memorable

This was one of the most beautiful and welcoming places we have ever stayed! We truly felt like VIP guests for the entire 11-days. The staff couldn’t do enough for us—there was always a boat available to take us back and forth to town, a driver to bring us to the 10-minute “secret beach,” help with booking tours, and more. We loved the WhatsApp communication, which made everything incredibly easy. They always responded instantly! We didn’t need a golf cart on this trip because they transported us by boat to where the action was in town. From the moment we booked, they were already communicating with us about airport transportation and handling every detail seamlessly. Don’t think twice about booking this resort. It’s an absolute steal for the level of service you receive and the amazing staff—every single one of them, especially Lorena and Nelson at the restaurant. Thank-you Aruna!!!

My stay at the Aruna was amazing. I would highly recommend this property. From the time my reservation was confirmed, until my departure, the communication and service was top tier. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The food at the Akasha restaurant was great. The lobster rolls were 10/10. The staff was so accommodating and attentive. Lorena and Rose were such a pleasure in helping us get everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. If you're on the fence about this property, book it! You will not be disappointed. Although the property sits away from the center of the island, it's just a short boat ride over. The only thing I would suggest, and this is just something for improvement, not a bad thing at all....full length mirrors in the room would be a plus. I have no complaints at all for Aruna Resort & Villas. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Aruna was a perfect place to stay -- an easy ride into town but a peaceful and quiet reprieve. The rooms were new, clean and very comfortable, and the amenities were great. The staff was unbelievably helpful and gracious -- a few weeks before our stay, they set up a whatsapp chat to coordinate a transfer upon arrival and provide restaurant recommendations. It was so easy to get in touch for fresh towels, restaurant reservations and any other questions we had. I absolutely would go back to Aruna!

The best hospitality experience I’ve ever had. We travel a lot for private and work and Aruna have exceeded all our experiences so far. The attentiveness, kindness and personability of the staff is exceptional, everyone knew us by name, we had a private WhatsApp group which served as a concierge for boat shuttles (it’s a 5min ride to the mainland), dinner reservations and more. The restaurant food is also delicious and the best we had in the Island. The experience was made so special with a warm welcome. The amenities in the room are 5 star with insane panoramic views. A special shout out to Rose, Melanie, Lorena and the Captain for making our final honeymoon days so special.

This property is absolutely amazing! We had a beautiful room overlooking the water. The room itself is amazing and they really pay attention to detail. The restaurant on the property is also the best restaurant we went to in Belize! WiFi was super strong, staff were incredible friendly, perfect place to stay in San Pedro!

Great location away from the loud streets of San Pedro. New resort with a great pool. Only 5 mins boat ride away from San Pedro. Rose, Loretta and Daryl were amazing along with the rest of the friendly staff.

The resort is located a 5-min boat ride away from San Pedro and the resort provided a boat service that was always available at 15-20 mins notice, and the boat captain was highly responsive and helpful, even showing us specific shops in San Pedro that we needed, so we didn't get lost. The housekeeping was excellent and attentive. The manager was highly communicative, proactive and responsive for all requests. The food and cocktails at the Aruna resort restaurant were really excellent. They really go the extra mile with the special cocktails and the brunch in particular was superb. The rooms were comfortable with efficient air conditioning and TV with internet access, and the wifi signal was strong. The location is great for trips to San Pedro, Secret Beach, snorkeling or fishing. All the staff were polite, friendly, helpful and highly attentive. Overall a great place to stay.
