“Back Beach Views” is a delightful double-storey family home in San Remo just a short drive or comfortable walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs a long central hallway provides access to Bedroom 2 which features BIR and an ensuite (with shower & toilet), Bedroom 3 which features BIR and an ensuite (with shower & toilet), a separate Toilet and a Laundry (with Washing Machine) that also has direct access to the rear yard. At the rear of the home is the large Living Room (with smart TV, Apple TV & coonara wood heater) that flows through to the rear covered Deck and also Bedroom 4 which features BIR and an ensuite (with shower & toilet).
Upstairs is the huge open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room (with smart TV & Apple TV) that flows through to the front Balcony through double stacker doors. Also on this floor is Bedroom 1 with a WIR and ensuite (with shower, bath, toilet and double vanity), as well as a separate Toilet.
Outdoor Areas
The fully covered rear Alfresco (with Weber BBQ and table & seating for 7 people) overlooks the enclosed rear yard which is perfect for children and pets alike (pets to sleep outdoors please) and also features a firepit (firewood not provided). The upstairs Balcony (with 2 seater table plus outdoor couch) has fantastic water views over to Phillip Island. The Garage is not for guest use, however there is space for 2 vehicles in the front driveway, and space for another (smaller vehicle) behind the gated backyard driveway, plus additional parking on the street.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with an Expressi/Aldi pod coffee machine, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, gas oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are two wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioners; one in each of the Living rooms, ceiling fans in all 4 Bedrooms, plus four additional stand-alone heaters which can be used where required. There is also a coonara wood heater in the downstairs Living Room (no wood provided).
Bedding Configuration
This home has 6 beds, accommodating up to 10 guests:

Linen

By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

The holiday home is in an excellent location, being very close to the beach as well as the playground.We also really liked the layout of the house, particularly the upstairs living room, which is spacious and well designed.However, we felt that the amenities—especially the upholstery—were not very clean. While the bathrooms were clean, the linen and towels provided were of relatively low quality. In addition, the outdoor furniture on the balcony was piled to the side, and the couch inside was dirty with stain marks on it .With improvements to cleanliness and the quality of amenities, this property could achieve a much better rating, as the location and overall structure of the house are excellent.
