Can't say anything bad, the only issue I had that was unavoidable was the smoke alarm deciding to go "beep" in the middle of the night. Otherwise it was more than perfect for the night.

Great affordable option on quiet location near the water. Wi Fi in room, we couldn't get it to work. Maybe it was a temporary outage. Friendly staff. Rooms are big and very comfortable.

This unit, although aged, was remarkably clean and well presented inside. Hair dryer, iron & board, Toaster, Kettle, Microwave, TV etc. Extra additions included crockery and cutlery. Ample parking. Beds were comfortable and check in and out was a breeze. Staff were polite & accommodating.

Handy location. Large room with nice facilities. Modern clean bathroom however unpleasant smell in the bathroom that may have been coming from outside. Some staff were more friendly than others. The guy who checked us in at the bottle drive through was friendly and welcoming. The pubs food was fairly priced and tasty. Overall a good place to stay at an affordable price. I would stay again.

Great room in a great place. Perfect for taking my family down to the penguin parade. One gripe - we had takeaway from the pub for dinner. My daughters had the chicken parmy which was great. I had the scallop carbonara. It had some cheap penne pasta. Maybe 5 scallops total. Not a lot of bacon, and wasn't seasoned. Quite bland. I didn't have the time or energy to complain about it. For $40 I expected something better.

Well priced good short stay location

This was just a 1 night stay. Check in via the bottleshop was quick, simple and easy. The rooms at the back of the pub (like at the rear car park area) look very basic, you have that 'what have I done' moment, yet once we went in the room, it was fine. Big rooms - large bathroom. Beds comfy, pillows were fine. Everything is well kept & clean. The room during the day (we arrived around 2.30pm) was quiet, yet during the night seems to have lots of seagulls roosting (but not really sleeping) on the metal roof, so lots of scratching and squawking during the night. I think investing in a bird net over the roof would fix this problem. The pub was great, good food, great staff. Nice little group of shops as well. If they can fix the seagulls on the roof at night, would definitely stay again.
