A nice stay

We had a nice stay here. Location was fantastic and the entire facility was very clean. Partial ocean view from our room, which was very nice. Room was a bit small and cramped for 3 of us. The breakfast options were delicious, however, very limited.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very cozy and quiet. Walking across the street to Moonstone beach was a big plus. The staff was great and friendly. Good breakfast options too. Definitely will return.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Sand Pebbles Inn. The check in employee was welcoming, extremely kind and her smile was infectious. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. There were various breakfast options to pick from which were delivered to our room at a designated time. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Great place to stay. Thank you Lupe for the comp’d room upgrade with an ocean view, will come again. If they sold the cookies, we’d buy 2 dozen. 2 small water bottles isn’t enough and unable to add more to the room.

I came in late so I picked up keys at Blue Dolphin 1 miles away. The staff is nice and friendly. The room at Sand pipers is cosy the only thing is bathroom sliding room design you can’t reach out to the shower side by sliding door as the side closer to shower head is fixed- hence it seems a bit inconvenient to turn on shower water, which you get wet and cold if your turn the wrong side instead of hot

Best Cambria Trip

From the moment we arrived, the staff (LUPE) was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay feel truly special. The room was impeccably clean and spacious, and the view of the beach was top-notch. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and the convenient location, making it easy to explore downtown Cambria, San Simeon, and Paso Robles. Thank you all for an amazing experience - the best we have had at Moonstone in the last 30 years!

Would recommend!

A very quiet and peaceful little beach hotel. The location is basically right on the water so you can hear the soothing sound of the crashing waves from your room. The room itself was very clean and the beds were very comfortable with lots of amenities and a well stocked coffee bar. The breakfast was down to earth compared to other hotels that serves breakfast but it tasted great and we personally liked the low key atmosphere a lot.
