Sunrise Cabin Private Beach Front Accommodation

We are located in Sandspit, on Moresby island, Haida Gwaii, Gateway to Gwaii Haanas national park. We are 30 mins to Grey Bay, 40 mins to Moresby Camp and Mosquito Lake, 10 mins to copper Bay.

Sandspit offers some of the best hunting, River fishing, Salmon and Halibut on Haida gwaii. Along with many hiking trails, beaches and beach combing.

Our place is a brand new build with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Its bright and cozy and directly across from the ocean. Large yard with fruit trees, wild strawberries, covered deck and full size Bbq with seating facing the ocean and private beach access. This house offers a smart tv with prime, Netflix, Disney plus and wifi, local books and board games. Lots of work space and natural light. Private driveway and check in with the key pad at your convenience. Get up early and watch the sunrise from the anywhere in the house!

We are available for anything you may have forgotten or advice you may need.

We loved our stay at the Sunrise Cabin. Perfectly appointed with all the household items you’d ever need, it felt like a comfy home away from home. They’ve really set it up well and thoughtfully. Its location is amazing - right across a quiet road from the sand dunes and vast sea. We counted two cars headed down the road all evening. Great view from the house and patio. Wifi and cel service are great. Walking distance to the clubhouse restaurant, which felt miraculous. Charming, functional spot; highly recommended.

A lovely cabin next to the ocean

Very clean and cozy. Easy access to basic amenities. A short drive from the airport and the ferry terminal. The only thing I would like to have had is a coffee maker.

Very comfortable home away from home. Spectacular view of the ocean. Well equipped kitchen made meal preparation easy. A good thing because finding an open restaurant wasn't easy.

Heaven on Earth

Every moment of this rental was a positive experience. You have to stay here to appreciate how magical it is. Rachel is professional and answers all inquiries right away. Cottage was so much more than we expected. You can tell it is cared for with lots of TLC. We felt in the lap of luxury and we were right across the street from the quietest beach. Added bonus we had horses in the field behind us. Walking distance to the Suoer Value and located in a fantastic spot for getting around or just staying put. Super clean and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this rental and we will be back.

If I was writing a book I would stay here the entire time. GORGEOUS!

What a beautiful way to start our stay in Haida Gwaii. Rachel's house is gorgeous and she takes great pride in every space of the home. There is a pathway that leads to the beach and a lovely walk to the point. There is everything you need for your stay and a very comfy bed. The value for this property is amazing and we will definitely be coming back!
