I really liked how nice the staff were there. Answered every question I gave them. The rooms, the hall, the comments, the pool, were clean. If I go back to that area I'm definitely going to use their inn again.

HORRIBLE
Our hotel room was possibly the worst I've ever seen. The lobby smelled like body odor and cigarettes, our room was dirty and the air conditioner was leaking. They had a towel underneath it catching the water, the manager said it had been there over the weekend. It was so saturated water was leaking onto the floor, it was a mold hazard with my 9 month old and 8 year old in the room. The pack and play was filthy and smelled like rotten vomit, the bed had crumbs in it, the floor was so sticky our feet made a sound as we walked around. We expressed our concerns to the manager and she wrote us off with multiple excuses. We paid $876 and stayed one night before leaving, they refused us a refund.

The thermostat on the air conditioner was set to 61, and the room had an ice box when we checked in. The flooring in the room was dirty with crumbs and sticky drink residue. The refrigerator had a previous guest's rotten food still in it, and the lampstand between the beds had spilled a drink on it. The door did not lock properly, and I had to lift the door when closed to get the deadbolt to slide into place. The cable/TV channels are mostly all infomercials and cooking shows. The toilet had a weak flush, so have a strategy if you need to use it for anything other than liquid. The breakfast was stale cereals and warm yogurt as the refrigerator door seal is worn and doesn't seal when closed. The biscuits were also stale and gray, so I assume they were left out to thaw and maybe warmed up in a microwave before setting it out, and the gravy was watered down. Several areas of the breakfast area were sticky from spilled drinks and haphazard cleanup attempts. I took the time to write this review to help the next family get their money's worth in an already overpriced Cedar Point Area and seek lodging elsewhere, if possible. Don't be in a hurry when leaving the parking lot, as three large potholes will wreck your alignment and lessen the life of your shocks and struts.

The floor has no carpet which would be fine if it was clean. It was so dirty, when I spilled water on the floor, because the coffee maker was broken and water poured right through it, when I wiped it up the white towel was so caked in dirt. The floor had visible dirt pressed into the floor. I mentioned the coffee maker did not work. The bathroom, while it has clean towels and fresh soap and toiletries, had a thick layer of dust on the hair dryer. The hotel lobby smelled like chlorine because the pool was located in the lobby. It was relatively inexpensive and is close to Kalahari, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Overall good value for price but unfortunately our non smoking room did smell very strongly of cigarettes especially during the first day or two of our stay. Room was decently clean other than a few surfaces such as the table (which was quite sticky) and the bed frame (which had drippy streaks on it. Hopefully it was just cleaner but I’m a bit of a germaphobe). The bathroom door also had to be wrestled with a bit to be shut. The breakfast was nice and included bread, pastries, cereal, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, and juice. The pool seemed nice also. Staff that we encountered were nice.

Night before Memorial Day= so noisy on stairs, above, beside, even outside of our 2nd floor room ;[ Hallways & stairs smelled so strong of weed, my son pushed a towel along floor at room door. Lots of sugary breakfast but not even hard boiled eggs. Dusty in room (other people’s dead skin.)

Two negative issues. Parking lot needs to be repaved. A lot of loose asphalt & gravel around. Very dangerous for Motorcycles and it's Ohio Bike Week. The room had a bad light switch in the bathroom, I had to wiggle the switch around to get the light to turn on The free breakfast was awesome and their choice of coffee brand was top notch. Very good
