Could not find the place for a long time at night because their sign was turned off. Completely inadequate lighting in the room, no cups or tissues. Floor was sticky and dirty, garbage had not been emptied completely. Had to pay $20.00 security deposit In case we destroyed anything or made a mess. Strong, unpleasant smell in the room. Will not stay again.

Absolutely do not stay here. This place shouldnt even be on expedia. When i got there and my room was booked to someone else, the owner told me that it was not his problem and i should not have booked through a third party app. When i showed him my receipt and asked another question, he started screaming and yelling profanities at me that it was "not his f problem". We had to drive 4 hours home. After being at cedar point for 12 hours that day. Now I can't even get a refund because they won't answer their phone. Shocking. I know this isn't Expedia fault about the refund, but i will do all i can to get my money back. That guy surely doesnt deserve it after how we were treated.

Not as advertised. Booked smoking room. They have no smoking rooms. Not offered there but advertised on hotels.com. False advertising. Outside appearance is poor and unkept. Not at all what was expected, which was not much. Even for the cheap price it was bad

Very clean rooms. Only problem for me was the mattresses in my room were pretty springy and old. But for the price the room was nice and clean.

Place was outdated.. room was clean… beds were soft but comfortable… so-called breakfast bar consisted of 2 bananas and 2 cereal dispensers with a half empty half gal of milk sitting on counter for ?? long… Property had a long list of “rules” to follow which you had to agree to upon check in along with $40 deposit. We followed all of their rules but still was charged $30.. 2 calls to property were unanswered so sent a message thru Expedia.. outside grounds were shabby

Not in line with econologdge expectations, might have been an off name inn. No directions for check in when main door locked. Card keys were white and he took a sharpie, crossed out previous room # and wrote our current room # on it. Keys were dropped off in a plastic pumpkin outside of main door, which concerns me. Room was very outdated, bed and pillow not comfortable. Breakfast was the worst ever - green bananas, prepacked little debbie donut, milk in a jug just sitting on the counter not temp controlled. When going back out to my car after about 15 min arriving the police were there regarding a problem between the customer trying to check in and the clerk, not sure what occurred and who instigated but an unsettling occurrence with family. Definitely wont stay here againt and will paid more for a better quality place. Sad to have associated this with the econolodge name.

This is by far the worst place I have ever made a reservation. The property was unkept, falling apart, dirt, the staff was clearly under the influence of substances and criminal activity was openly occurring in the park lot. We contacted Expedia for assistance. They contacted the property manager and made an unsafe environment. The property locked the office door would not answer the phone or allow a checkout. We had to flee the property and were on our own to find new lodging. Expedia strung us along for days trying to get a refund and finallly stated there was nothing they could do.

Do not stay here. Everything in our room was dirty. The towels looked like someone wiped their shoes off on them. the bedding was dirty. Unfortunately, we checked in after 11pm because we were at cedar point all day so there weren't really options to stay somewhere else. I paid $180 for the night. Luckily, I had my own blankets and towels and stuff we brought with us.
