Its an old motel at a cheap price. The sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked. But there was mold in the bathroom, and they left someone elses swimsuit hanging on the back of the door. It really needs to be updated.

A place to sleep and shower while saving money

Decent place. It was clean, nothing was broken. Felt safe. The pool is awesome! If you have base your expectations on the price you pay, you will be happy. Nothing is fancy or new. It is fine and close to Cedar Point. No complaints.

The gentleman that was working was amazing.I know he was doing his best to make mine and my family stay comfortable. It was everything except enjoyable. Dirty sheets, blankets they smelled and were stained.,floor was filthy 7 min after my kid took a shower his feet were blk, bld stain under mattress moldy air conditioner mold on bathroom ceiling, sticky floor in corner by table, when I got extra towels he explained to me that this was all they had left . They’re a little dingy and might have a few stains. I look at them at the room 2 of them look like they were used for cleaning something with oil.. I spoke with the manager on sun 930she said the owner would call me around 12 no call/vm.

Absolute worst hotel in Sandusky

Went to check in on time my room wasn’t ready. They said it still wasn’t clean 45 minutes later I get in my room and they’re still stuff on the floor like it had never been vacuumed. The shower was grimy looking. And if you ever stay at this hotel, bring your own towels cause all they provide are these thin sandpaper pieces of wood that are so painful. This might be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The entire place is just rundown. The pool is overrun with kids without parents watching them. Staff were extremely rude for one even though the price is decent. Will never stay at this place again and thank God I didn’t bring my family to this.

Nasty - Do not stay

Explaining it now that the pictures that are advertised for the wolf inn are deeply faked. My friend and I trusted them to be able to make sure the room was clean there were butt stains wet stains on the chairs the floor had dead bugs under the bed, they did not clear out the trash cans, the bathroom had black mold, the bathroom was not clean, it had pieces of chipped paint in the tub, the pool was not filtered you could see the dirt on people, and you could tell they didn't clean their pool constantly. There was a lot wrong with the room. My proof is down below in the pictures provided so if you decide to stay in Sandusky. I highly recommend a Super 8 a motel 8 or one of the chain places. Do not stay here at the Wolf inn

Sheets, dirty environment, unsafe, unsanitary room, horrible service we were at because we asked for clean sheets they had blood all over them got told she wasn’t dealing with. This did not stay. There went to a far better hotel down the road. Absolutely do not rent from Wolf Inn in Ohio.

The photos shown online did not accurately show the lack of quality of this property. The rooms were dirty; the towels had a film on them. I went out and purchased my own. The bed was slanted down towards the headboard, and you could feel all the springs in the mattress. The pool closing time was not enforced, and people were up swimming and being loud in that area until after midnight. I forfeited my last reserved day and went to a real hotel.

Room was dirty, bathroom door was broken and it wouldn’t close , shower knob broke off as I try to turn it on. The Hotel looks nothing like the app pictures, the total opposite, will not recommend to no one.

Okay here we go-First time in Ohio and this motel. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly when we checked in. We were going to be on the second floor, but he switched us to a room on the first floor. I have bad knees and there is no elevator. When we got to the room everything at first sight looked good. But, as we looked around we started to “see”the problems. First there are no safety latches or chains on the door. When we asked about it we were told Ohio law states they can’t have them on the doors. I looked it up and there is no such law. Plus a family two doors down from us who I talked to had the latch and chain on their door. Second, the two right dresser drawers were broken. Third, the room was filthy. I moved my bed about two inches and there was garbage and food underneath. Fourth, the bathroom door would not close. It was like it was too big for the frame. Fifth, the vent in the bathroom was disgustingly dirty. I went to wipe up the floor after I took a shower and my towel was black. I saw the housekeeper walking around with a broom and dustpan, but no mop. There were quite a few “residents “ living there. When you were outside the smell of skunk weed permeated your nose. The water in the sink is not drinkable. It smells and tastes awful. Every night when you turned on the faucet in the bathtub it would come out yellow at first. I took pictures of the things that I have talked about.

Pros: I didn't meet a single staff member that wasn't friendly, the area is down the street from several shopping and dining options, lastly it's within 10mins of Cedar Point. Cons: Hotel is a motel. Not a hotel. It is FILTHY and incredibly outdated. It's "seedy" and in desperate need of updates. We booked 2 adjoining rooms for our family and both rooms had visible mold in the showers. The beds were dingy and uncomfortable. We drove to Walmart the first night and bought bedding so that we could even sleep on it. The deadbolts don't work on the doors (staff did say it was an Ohio ordinance for safety, but that isn't a thing I've heard in a single other state or country I've been in and I've been to 10+ so far). I booked based on the overall rating I saw and wished I would have read the Google reviews first. This place could be a gem if the owner updated the rooms to make them at least LOOK clean. I would never stay here again.
