Wohlfühlen im Bayerischen Wald

This friendly, spacious, and cozy apartment is located in the Predigtstuhl Resort. With its two rooms and 53 square meters of living space, it offers plenty of room for up to four people. The Predigtstuhl Resort is situated in the heart of the Bavarian Forest at an elevation of approximately 900 meters in the health resort town of Sankt Englmar.

The apartment consists of a combined living and dining area, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a balcony. It was completely renovated in December 2021.
The apartment is equipped with two televisions with cable. Internet access is available and can be used free of charge.

The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable box-spring bed, a closet, and a desk. In the living area, you can make yourself comfortable in a cozy box-spring bed (200 x 200 cm) and enjoy a restful night’s sleep.

The dining area is furnished with a table and chairs that comfortably seat four people, perfect for enjoying a meal together that you’ve prepared in the kitchenette, which is equipped with a refrigerator and a two-burner induction cooktop (the necessary kitchen utensils are provided). Alternatively, you can take advantage of the wide range of dining options in the immediate vicinity.

The apartment is designed in a maisonette style, so you can access the living and sleeping areas via a staircase from the apartment’s entryway.

Within the hotel complex, guests can use the indoor pool with a children’s pool, the outdoor pool with a slide during the warm summer months, the children’s playground, and the table tennis table—as well as the fitness room and sauna—free of charge. On the hotel grounds, “younger guests” can let off steam at Family-World, which features a large indoor playground, for a fee. For “older guests,” an indoor soccer arena is also available for a fee.

In the immediate vicinity of the hotel complex, there are various recreational activities available for all age groups. These include, for example, hiking and biking, winter sports, a summer toboggan run, and a treetop trail.

Taxes, fees, and other costs:
Since Sankt Englmar is a climatic health resort, a visitor’s tax must be paid for each day of your stay. This amounts to 2.30 euros for guests aged 16 and older, and 1.40 per person per day of stay for children and teenagers aged 6 and older.
The visitor’s tax is not included in the total price.

Starting at 01.05.2024, I will provide you with the aktivCARD Bayerischer Wald, which grants you free access to more than 130 services at participating businesses.
For the aktivCARD Bayerischer Wald, you are required to pay 3.95 euros per night for guests aged 16 and older, and 2.95 euros per night for guests aged 6 through 15.
The price of the aktivCARD is not included in the total price.

Arrival:
If you are arriving by car (recommended), a free underground parking space is available. However, you can also park your car in one of the numerous outdoor parking spaces located right next to the entrance to the apartment building.

If you’re arriving by train, you can reach the Predigtstuhl Resort by public bus.
