The staff was very helpful even if they didn’t speak fluent English, we were able to communicate. The breakfast on the terrace was an experience to be had. The assortment of cheese, bread and local flavors was delicious. Definitely a place to stay.

Hotel is in the old city , surrounding area is dirty. Wouldn’t go out at night … There was no one at the front desk and no one spoke English. Breakfast was good, buffet. The room was very large with 25ft high ceilings..quite impressive.

Lovely Boutique Hotel

Lovely hotel within a short walk to Abraham’s Cave and Fish pond. Lovely comfortable room with great wifi. Wifi reached the bedroom. Hot water within a modern well presented bathroom. Spacious, magical outdoor area to chill. Got great advice from the hotel to get a bus to Gazientep from the Archeological Museum. Wish we could have stayed one night longer

A hidden gem in the centre of Sanliurfa, within a short walk of the archaeology museum, bazaar and Abraham's Pools. Mehmet and his staff were extremely welcoming and the building has been beautifully restored, but offering all modern facilities. My room was simply superb (even allowing for the low entry into the bathroom!) and it was a very comfortable sleep. Breakfast was also excellent, served fresh rather than buffet style. One small negative was the drumming and music from a neighbouring cafe which was on from 8-11pm.

Barking dog aside excellent hotel.

Palmyra is a lovely hotel an old mansion well restored. It’s super central most things in Urfa within walking distance. Excellent breakfast served also. Our only downside not the fault of the hotel the fault of the rude couple who decided to sit out in the courtyard area to smoke and drink late at night with their dog who insisted on barking at shadows. We asked them if they would move or put the dog in their room they said they would quiten it down but still stayed out in the courtyard with it barking intermittently. If you bring a dog to a hotel the first thing you should be mindful of is the other guests.

We were arriving late than we had planned. Called the hotel they were extremely helpful in checking us in late. And they were kind to find a place to dine and help a get our food. The property is a classic and had its charm with a an enclosed courtyard. It had all the modern amenities. All through the stay the staff were extremely helpful. Thank you.

This hotel looks nothing from the outside but the rooms are round a central courtyard, either in the main building or across the road in the annex. I think the annex is nicer with lots of places to sit outside in a tranquil oasis. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly even though they did not speak English. There is parking next to the hotel. Breakfast is a basic and typically Turkish served in the main building. The hotel serves beer but not wine. Location is very good for the main sights and the hotel can recommend places to eat.

It was Ok

The rooms were okay in size and the beds were comfortable. Unpleasant odor comes out the bathroom's plumbing probable cause by the age of the city's plumbing system. Although the parking was free, the parking attendants were always trying to collect "exit fees" and at times were unpolite. The hotel manager took care of it, but it became an annoying ritual. It is centrally located to the attractions and Bazaar. The A/C was great as it was getting warmer out here. If you have mobility issues, you better ask for a ground level room. The manager and the staff were very friendly and willing to help.
