Location is awesome and the staff is wonderful. Parking is challenging. You need a member of the staff to help enter the parking ramp. The air conditioning works for 10 minutes then stops until it’s turned on again. Brutal in the summer.

Pleasant stay at the Alexander Hotel

Very nice traditional hotel with hard working, attentive staff. Wide choice at breakfast but always seemed a bit rushed. Lovely garden in which to enjoy a drink in the early summer sun. The only real negative was the bed’s mattress which was too soft and really needs to be replaced. Hotel is very well positioned close to bars, restaurants and the main shopping street.

Lovely hotel

What a wonderful hotel. We really enjoyed our stay, the second time in a month. It’s in a very convenient location, close to the train station and local shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the spacious one bedroom suite with fridge and microwave. The bedding is comfortable and we were provided with lots of towels. The breakfast is generous with a variety of choices including scrambled eggs. The coffee is excellent. We enjoyed the pretty garden at the front of the garden, it’s a perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail. Thank you for remembering us when we returned for a second stay, we feel so welcomed at the Hotel Alexander.

This is the nicest hotel in the area from the outside, and the building is well maintained. Not luxurious, but spotlessly cleaned. The included breakfast is quite complete and good. While the staff appeared a little aloof at first, after a couple of days and they proved to be friendly and willing to help.

Fantastic two days at the Hotel Alexander, would give a higher rating if I could. Erica, Evita and Letizia were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. Great location, walked to everywhere around the city, nice breakfast and old pretty setting. Would definitely come here again.

Kids loved the garden - table tennis and football table! Breakfast could have a bit more verity over the week e.g maybe omelette option? Hotel was great - Sanremo was bit a let down as very touristy place but bus station does only have sigh of bus no timetable at all. Staff very welcoming and friendly. thank you for looking after us!

Lovely hotel

We had a lovely stay. Conveniently located in the town centre with parking. Clean well appointed air conditioned room. Very helpful staff. Welcome drink in the garden. Breakfast served outside on the terrace. Continental breakfast with choice of eggs to order. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic hotel in centre of San Remo 500 metres from train station location is perfect excellent service good internet Warm welcome with the offer of coffee from the receptionist Eliza (cappuccino) was the best one we had in italy to date nice and hot and great taste Our room was in the anex (apartment building next door) Room was clean and basic with the normal Italian breakfast. Beautiful garden setting for when the weather is warmer *** all cafes and shopping on the doorstep and the esplanade 5 minutes walk A nice jesture we received a complimentary bottle of bubbly Perfect hotel for visiting San Remo we would definately stay there again Great market on Tuesdays and Saturdays with plenty of bargains just a 10 minute walk
