On arrival we were slightly disappointed with the villa, this is the only villa we have rented where were was nothing in the villa, no pool towels, condiments, such as salt, pepper, oil, sugar or even a tea bag. neither was there a spare loo roll, or even a half used Citronella Candle. so bear in mind you will need to purchase items on arrival.
This is only an issue as needing to purchase these items for a weeks stay is difficult, and I'm sure previous renters would have done so also, so we left behind multiple items, knowing they would probably be put in the of the many locked cupboards in the property.
also the Pool isn't heated..
Other then this, the property is in a great location, 10 minute stroll downhill to some lovely quaint bars and restaurants and the small beach.
Note this town is quiet, you wont find a neon light or buildings over 3 floors, I think we only saw 2 hotels.
A couple of days of afternoon walks and you have seen 90% of the town.
The train/bus does the rounds all through the day and is useful to get to neighbouring towns, but this isn't cheap if used daily.
So this is the place if your looking for a quiet break.
In fairness, it served our purpose and was secure and well laid out and we enjoyed our stay, but just a little thought could have made it outstanding.
