This cozy home has three bedrooms and one loft space (doubles as a TV room and bedroom) and 2 bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a king size bed, a large bathroom with double sinks, a large walk-in shower and soaking tub. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, and the third bedroom has a queen size sleeper sofa. The second-floor loft space is bright and airy TV room that can be used as the 4th optional bedroom (includes a sleeper sofa). The kitchen is nicely appointed with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and everything you need to cook your favorite meal. Indoors there is dining for 4 to 6 and outdoors for 8 with a gas grill to enjoy alfresco. The backyard is very large, perfect for hanging out and for your four-legged buddy to explore.

Just 3 blocks above Leadbetter Beach and Shoreline Park this beautiful and dedicated solely as a VACATION HOME is located on the popular MESA neighborhood, the crown jewel of Santa Barbara.

Leadbetter Beach is a short walk down the street where you can lay out your beach towels, chairs, umbrella and cooler (ALL PROVIDED/INCLUDED) and watch the surfers catching waves. Sorry No dogs/alcohol allowed here.

Shoreline Park is a popular 14-acre coastal bluff park with amenities including a playground, picnic tables / barbecues, and beach access stairs. Shoreline Park provides sweeping views of the Santa Barbara Coastline, the Marina, the Channel Islands, and Santa Ynez Mountains. Walking through the Torii Gate in the center of the park will take you to down the bluff to the beach below. DOGS can play OFF-LEASH on this beach (that's my little buddy in cover photo) and on-leash in the park.

The home is also close to the popular downtown State Street, wharf and marina, shopping, wine tasting, popular restaurants, outdoor rentals and much more. Let me know your interests are and I'll help point the way!

FLY into our local Santa Barbara Airport (Alaska / American / Delta / Frontier / United) The home is located between the 101 Frwy and the Beach. Traveling North exit Bath Street. Traveling South exit Castillo Street. Use your map app to guide you to the house.

Please Note:
The posted website rates are based on 3 people. Utility costs (water, electricity, gas), linen service, cleaning costs, wear and tear, etc., go up with each additional guest, greater than 3. Even with this nominal upcharge, I'm sure you can appreciate the savings and benefits by bringing in a large group under the same roof.

There are security cameras (front of house only) on the property that ensure the safety of you, your vehicle(s) and compliance by our guests. While we understand that you may have friends and family visit you during your stay, unauthorized overnight guests (and pets) will be charged at the rate posted and taken from your deposit.

We had a wonderful stay at Mark’s beautiful home in the Santa Barbara area. It was clean, comfortable, and truly had everything we needed for a relaxing trip with our two dogs. The location was perfect—close to the beaches and downtown, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. Mark was an excellent host: extremely helpful, responsive, and thoughtful, checking in to make sure we were comfortable. Decorated up for Christmas this was a wonderful place in Santa Barbara. Mark has thought of everything there's nothing missing and I noticed how sharp the kitchen knives were - thats great attention to detail. Location is hard to beat with Vons just 3 minutes away. Cute little bakery by Vons btw. House is right off a fairly busy road but honestly we didn't hear anything. Loved it!

Wonderful stay! Great location and a perfect and comfortable place to stay in Santa Barbara. The home had all the amenities for a short or extended stay. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms had all the extras like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, extra towels, etc.Washer and dryer, cleaning supplies if needed.The kitchen had everything for cooking! Ample amounts of dishes, utensils, cups, glasses, serving bowls and plates. The coffee maker, coffee, teas and extras were a nice surprise. The outdoor space was great and we spent a lot of our time together there. The host was very helpful and quick to respond. We will be back to stay for our next visit to Santa Barbara.

This place was beautiful, just as pictured and in such a perfect location. It is so well stocked and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Had a marvelous time at this lovely home. The home had everything you could possibly need or want. So well stocked. Mark, the host, was so responsive to our questions and provided so much useful information about dining, things to do, etc. The backyard is so private and lush. A Great Stay...2 Years So Far

And we'll be back.This is a great place. Were stayed 2 weeks our family and pup who all loved the location. Minutes walk to Shoreline Park and Ledbetter Beach. Close to markets on Cliff Dr.Very close to Santa Barbara City College.Some in our family walked to Stearns Wharf and State Street. Easy drives for the rest of us. Perfect beach house

From the outside, this may look like many other beach houses, but inside, it is amazing--with great dark wood and beach decor. The backyard is a tropical paradise that my 6 year-old granddaughter LOVED. We were just a few blocks form the beach and convenient to everything. House has all you need including boogie boards and beach towels. Wish we could have stayed longer. Host Mark was VERY responsive to every question. Stay here!

Wedding weekend in Santa Barbara

My family and I attended a wedding in Santa Barbara and stayed at this property in May 2025. We were blown away at the charm, convenience, location, and overall quality of the property and amenities. The host was extremely communicative and answered all of our questions promptly. He even had several suggestions for things to do that weekend in the area. All of the rooms included all the amenities necessary, everyone felt safe and comfortable. And being less than a mile from the ocean, made it the perfect location. Would highly recommend for adult adults, families, or anyone staying in the area

A short and sweet Santa Barbara visit

This is one of the top home rental I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in a lot, domestically and overseas. What puts this rental over nearly all others is the attention to details that create an extremely comfortable stay. Some details are as simple as a coat rack and hooks to hang coats and towels. Every comfort was addressed and delivered. Auto night lights to light the upstairs stair case in the dark, well stocked kitchen, coffee bar, bottles of water, a local bottle of wine. Very clean and fresh towels and linens. Outstanding in my experiences. Thank you.

This property is everything claimed. Mark, the host, is on top of it! The property is nice, well equipped, "easy" to live in, and immaculately clean. We only used the bed in the master bedroom, but it was quite comfortable. We would definitely stay in this property again.

College Gal Friend Reunion!

These six ladies reconnected at our 50th College Reunion at Davidson College in NC. It was a magical 3 days with these ladies from all over the US. Propert was fantastic. From the linens, to the welcoming wine from Fess Parker to doggie treats and coffee. MARK you are AMAZING!

Wonderful stay in Santa Barbara!

Our family enjoyed this beautiful home and it met all of our needs for the weekend! Three bedrooms, plus the large loft gave us plenty of room to sleep, but also lots of space in living area and back yard for enjoying our time together. Host was quick with emails, check in/out was smooth, everything was better than advertised. The slightest negative would be couch beds - we added extra blankets for padding. Cute decor everywhere, nice dishes, large fridge. Thank you Mark for sharing your lovely home with us!
