It was definitely a 2 star or lower motel. When we arrived at the room, the door was wide open at 10 pm at night. After making sure no one else was in there, we plugged the holes in the walls with toilet paper. The pillows stunk like cigarette smoke if you are into that

Staff were friendly but the bathroom wasn’t clean and the shampoo and shower gel dispensers were empty. There were cobwebs in the bathroom. The air conditioning didn’t work until you moved the cord around. The desk lamp and reading lamp didn’t work. One didn’t have a bulb. There was work happening at night and a lot of comings and goings. Didn’t get a good nights sleep.

For over $200/night, I was very disappointed. The guy at the front desk was great, helpful, friendly, but that was the high point of my stay. I couldn’t get out of there soon enough. I found myself looking longingly at the Motel 6 down the street.
