The location is great. The spot for our car was an added plus. Room was nicely clean but there was a boxed female product left in the closet from last guest when we arrived. The skylights were very nice but one was broken. However waking up to hear and see the rain hitting the sky light was nice. Rooms were spacious and overall I did like the Inn. The lounge with amenities and snacks was a very nice touch. Our room mini coffee/bar was nice. Loved having the little refrigerator, that definitely was a plus. The check in was a bit worrisome. Mostly my fault I admit. I did not answer the call from the INN to reconfirm. The next day I did call back but spoke to no one so left a text message to reconfirm. I also sent two messages through Expedia and the Winston site itself. I kept waiting to get the access code. I got no call back. So I'd suggest if a quest doesn't know to call back, have a representative leave a detailed message to prompt a call back (message was a bit vague only asking to reconfirm reservation ) Also responses to messages, texts or a second phone call would be helpful. That was the hugest issue I had. I also know I share blame in it for not being able to answer the phone call when they first called.
Would I stay there again, yes possibly. I now know the rules of the invisible check in/no front desk-so I'm sure it would go much smoother. Having said all that we did get in our room slightly early which earns big points. Thank you for the stay. The Taylor Family
