Clean room. The staff was excellent and the property was a delight.
If you are looking for something close to city center this is a bit out of the way. It’s still walkable in any direction but to get to the train station will take you about 20 minutes.
Now the great factor about this location is the easy access to Ponte Vecchio, Ufizi gallery and Vivilo’s cafe. The affogato at Vivoli is absolutely to die for. They have various different flavors and types of coffee. If you don’t believe me look it up. You can’t miss it. The hotel is close by to Gustapizza. This place is just as amazing.
The entire region is fabulous and you can’t go wrong staying at the Ballestri. I will definitely stay here again. Oh and pay for the balcony room. It over looks the River Arno. You can have morning coffee with a pastry and soak in the views.
