We were very happy about the location. Away from Funchal as we didn’t want to have the roofs of other properties in sight but the sea. The flat delivered this. It was rather quiet. We could hear conversations of other tenants but they were discreet. It’s difficult to avoid this being in a block of properties and we expected this. It’s close to the airport and we could hear and see planes but it didn’t bother us as it was not frequent. The contact with host was very efficient as very fast. There was a problem with the jacuzzi so we were not able to enjoy it fully unfortunately. The photos are true to reality. The terrace could have been a bit cleaner. Pots with dead plants, rocks and debris here and there.
