One street down from bustling Rua da Garajau with restaurants bars, bakeries, food stores etc. Rough km from supermarkets like Pingo Doce and Continente. 5 minute walk to the beach lift. Garajau beach is located in a aqua nature reserve - known for good diving.

The fully furnished apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen with separate laundry room. The veranda has a breathtaking view over the ocean, with full day sun exposure.

The apartment occupies the first floor of a 3 story villa. The neighborhood consists of stand alone villas. Dedicated parking in the street.

Spring Getaway

We had a wonderful in stay in Garajau ,the view from the spacious veranda was perfect . This unit is large enough to accommodate four adults comfortably .As seniors I did have trouble with the hills in the area because of a breathing problem . A car is a plus, but is not really required for a whole stay , but is an asset to see the whole island . Bus transport is good and if you are there for a long stay I recommend buying the 20 trip bus pass for trips to Funchal or Canicio .Landlord was very helpful and fixed any little problems immediately . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay .
