The hotel is nice yet a little tired in places. Some decor in our room was in need of attention. Peeling wallpaper on bathroom ceiling for example. The pool looked quite dirty and in need of a good clean out. Sorry tlles and some bits floating around. The biggest issue is not having use of a sunbed at the hotel without paying a huge fee. It counts towards food and drink spent that day, but this is just not how a hotel should be. We felt conned frankly. Why pay for a hotel with pool etc and then find you cannot be by the pool without paying a lot more over and above the cost of the stay, which is expensive in the first place. It just cheapens the experience, and makes you just feel like a cash cow. The lower rent Hyde hotel is effectively the same hotel too so it just didn’t feel premium for the premium price tag.
