Longer then expected.

My van's transmission broke down and was referred by family members about this place. Instead of a 4 day stay it turn into a 7 day stay. The breakfast burritos are great. I know I will stay here again, on my way back home next month.

Break down time.

Auto broke down, so had to stay here by recommendation for several days. Nice place for the price. Good staff. Quite. Breakfast very good.nice room. Will stay here again.

Coyote South is a cute little boutique property. It was less than 5 miles from everywhere we wanted to go and had a daily shuttle to the Plaza area. The rooms were nicely decorated. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. Really, what more can you ask for? The breakfast was good too. For the price we paid for our room, it was well worth it. The major downside to our stay was the lack of insulation. We could hear every loud car outside and every person in the hallway. At one point in the night, a lady stood right outside our door and proceeded to have a conversation at regular voice level and we could hear every word.

I was given a room o the "pet floor" and was surrounded on all sides by rooms with dogs. My room smelled like dogs had stayed there not to mention the smell of cigarette smoke. Ground level window could not be locked when completely shut. The only safety measure was a metal stop thing at about 6-7 inches. Thus, the window could be opened 6-7 inches at any time. I did not feel safe. I had to wedge a hairbrush between the edge of the closed window and the metal stopper to keep the window from opening. Not very safe. This window was a absolute ground level looking out onto the parking lot.

The hotel was OK for the price. Obviously an older hotel that had been refurbished a bit. My problem was extraordinarily loud neighbors. The walls and the ceilings are very thin and you hear everything. These people had their TV on full blast the entire night finally at 4 AM. I called the front desk and eventually, the TV was turned down. Not off unfortunately but that was better. So I really got no sleep. The hotel itself is OK.

Awesome

Check in and out procedures went swiftly and smoothly. Pricing was cheap enough without sacrificing comfort and cleanliness. It was very quiet the two nights we stayed there. They had delicious breakfast burritos and by one of the best I've ever had traveling. My only complaint is the bathroom was very small, but managable because the sink was outside of the main bathroom.

I like that the property had ample parking and two exits from the parking lot. I liked that there was a working heater and air conditioner. I liked the front desk service. I liked that there were no bed bugs. I liked that there was a breakfast option. The property itself is mediocre and difficult to locate for a first timer. The building itself is in disrepair and in major need of better insulation between suites along with consistent pest control measures to compensate for the condition of the building. If I hadn’t been traveling solo this time, I’d have checked us out early. Since it was just me, I made the best of it.

The hotel charges a $100 security deposit that is not advertised on the Hotels.com website. It should be included on the webpage. I’m kind of upset about it…

Great stay

Overall great stay for the price and location. I’ll always stay here if I’m in the area. The only “not-so-great” things were the dogs barking excessively.
