As a Hilton Diamond member, not impressed with the service of this particular hotel. Proximity to the tourist area earned my 3 stars, otherwise, no stars. Coffee is only served few hours in the morning then they take it away. As a big coffee drinker, this was important to me. Mediocre restaurant But the morning breakfast servers were quite pleasant. Last straw, we haven’t checked out yet, but took our bags to the car, but left some personal stuff. Came back to brush our teeth, everything was gone including our toothbrush. And just an FYI, beds were stripped but the duvet was left in the room. I would only assume that duvet will not be washed but will be reused for the next guest. So I took the duvet and just let the shower soak it.

The hotel was wonderful! Perfect location as it was in walking distance to everything. Beautifully decorated with all the necessary amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the front desk staff. The only issue we had was room service as they were short staffed. We ordered room service three times and had to do it in person instead of over the phone. Other than that everything was amazing!

The location of this hotel is great! Once you pay for parking, the plaza is right there, so you can walk everywhere! The restaurant/bar was nice- we went in for a late night drink and it was great. My only complaint was that the room was a little warm- it never did cool to the temperature we set the thermostat to overnight.

The property is charming and historic with much character. It is conveniently located to the historic plaza and downtown shopping. The parking lot is large and perfect for overnight stays.

The location is perfect for walking around the square and seeing all the sites in the downtown area. The staff we encountered were not friendly. Our room was nice and cool with comfortable beds. The shower was another story- the hot water couldn’t be adjusted! It was lukewarm when you turned it on but once it got hot, it was HOT!

The AC in our room was leaking, clearly not a surprise to the staff, given there was an air purifier already running when we arrived. Let’s set aside the fact that a leaky AC can be a serious health concern. The hotel advertised itself as historic, but once inside, it felt more like a generic Ramada Inn: all charm stripped away by bland renovations. The rooms were cramped, and we were constantly disturbed by loud clanking noises from outside. They charged extra for everything, $30 a day for parking, and an absurd $25 per person for a basic breakfast. We had booked a poolside room but were given something completely different, only to be moved after we complained about HVAC fluids dripping from the ceiling. At $380 a night, the experience felt more like budget lodging with luxury prices. Honestly, a Quality Inn would have been a better value. Disappointing across the board. Hilton has lost my trust.

Great location, so much was walkable, and the staff were friendly. The beds were very soft and we found them uncomfortable.

This property is in an enviable — an excellent location. Unfortunately, it’s tired and depressing inside: the interior hallway and room paint-scheme is far too dark; the interior carpet is worn, dark, and seems unclean. The furniture in the rooms are all different and it appears all were purchased at various garage sales. The elevator(s) shake. It’s depressing to see such a prime property in such a state of neglect. Walk 30 yards over to the Eldorado, and you will have the perfect example of a hotel that values its location and its guests.
