The location was great. There's no paved path/road. The road was a combination of dirt, rocks and sand. The breakfast just consists of toasted bread, jam, coffee and fruits. Overall hotel was in excellent condition and clean. The staff was helpful. Thank you Monica and Stephanie.

My room was very clean and very modern with well functioning quiet air conditioning plus ceiling fan. Casa Manglar is a gem of a place that feels more like a quaint yet ultra modern bed and breakfast, with a limited amount of rooms - I think 12. Service is of 5-star quality, the design of the hotel offers the serenity of a spa. Again, 5-star, without pretense. Casa Manglar is located on a very flattened dirt road, a few feet away from the main road that takes you to Puerto Escondido Centro; about 3 miles away. Aside from Centro, beach access is a strong walk to the nearest beach. There’s also a super clean, beautifully clear-water interior pool when a plunge is desired. For less reliance on taxis, I’ll look to rent a car or moped to get around, upon my next visit. The town offers many rental options. My stay at Casa Manglar was brief, but I highly recommend this hotel!

Lovely hotel in a nice area. We really enjoyed our month-long stay at Hotel Manglar! Close enough to Punta to enjoy the restaurants, cafes and beach, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful neighbourhood with lots of nature around. Safe area with nice locals and a few other little hotel/casas. The main street/highway nearby has some great new places that just opened like Ojitos coffee and Moringa for healthy takeaway food & drinks. We liked the mix of hotel with staff during the day to just guests at night. Friendly staff, from the girls at the front desk to the maintenance & cleaning crew - they have a family kind of vibe which is really nice. We had a couple requests like extra hangers & blanket which they accomodated quickly. Beautiful space with a refreshing pool that gets sun and shade throughout the day. Lots of poolside seating and loungers, the area is never full even when the hotel is - so it's always a pretty peaceful ambience. Strong wifi for phone or laptop. We appreciated the fresh drinking water on each floor. We loved our room, which had a large balcony. The bed was super comfy, the pillows were great with both soft and firm options. Excellent shower pressure with no shortage of hot water. Lots of space for clothes storage. We rented a scooter which we found essential (you can walk around 20 minutes to the main streets, but in the heat and at night we preferred to have the scooter). Highly recommend Hotel Manglar!

La mejor elección que pudimos hacer, honestamente no tengo ningún pero a este lugar. Bastante cómodo, bonito, agradable; excelente ubicación, muy cerca de un Oxxo, tiendita, avenida principal, gasolinera, farmacia, a 8 min en motocicleta a Punta Zicatela y caminando a 15 min. El hotel ofrece recomendaciones tanto de auto, moto y cuatrimoto, como de comidas y tours. (Incluye estacionamiento privado). Fui con mi novio, y ambos quedamos satisfechos con la atención, amabilidad, limpieza, orden, y la confianza que brinda la encargada y el staff, nos sentimos como en casa. Ideal para pasar más de un fin de semana, ya que está tranquilo la mayor parte del tiempo. El hospedaje incluye desayuno continental (café o té, fruta y pan con mantequilla y mermelada), que en lo personal nosotros lo disfrutamos mucho, gracias a eso pudimos ahorrarnos el desayuno de todos nuestra estadía. En conclusión, volveríamos a escoger este lugar sin duda. 10000000% RECOMENDABLE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ PD. Nuestra habitación tenía una vista espectacular al mar. 🤩
