This property is off the scale impressive and supported by genuine, attentive helpful hosts.It is five star luxury, supremely comfortable with outstanding facilities in a designer space.The location is quiet and rural, but not at all touristy. There are reasonable local village facilities, and several good supermarkets within a 10 minute drive.There are two outstanding beaches within a 20 min drive and we were fortunate that the Viagem Mediaeval event was on whilst we were there. The whole village of Santa Maria de Feira is transformed for 12 days into an interactive medieval village.Porto itself is not too far and worth the effort to get there. The Douro waterfront is exciting and boat tours spectacular.We had two young children in our party and it was very easy to enjoy the luxury and facilities of the villa and pool and the space it provided.

The house was fantastic, even better than the photos suggested. It was spacious, tidy, and functional and designed using quality materials all over. The yard was a good size and well maintained, the pool was very nice (good size, depth appr from 1-2m and beautifully lighted at night), and there were several seating areas outdoors, both in the sun and in shade. The barbecue facilities were also excellent and there was a big dining table outside. All the bedrooms were spacious and each had its own bathroom with shower, which was excellent. The house was in a quiet location. A car is essential for getting around. The sights were mostly around Porto, Aveiro and the beach (all appr. 30-40min drive). There were good grocery stores nearby, some 10mins away, The hosts Nora and Joao were incredibly helpful, friendly, and easy to reach.
