Detailed Description:
5 Bedroom/4 Bathroom home with Private Pool and Lake with Private Dock - Great Gulf Views from almost every room in the home AND only steps from the sand at the public access! This home is conveniently located right by a LARGE PUBLIC beach access for all guests of our neighborhood to use.

Daniel Dunes is located on the beautiful Emerald Coast of the Florida Panhandle. Surrounded by Deer Lake State Park, Eastern Lake to the West, and the Gulf of Mexico to the South; this home backs up to a lake with expansive westerly views of the gulf. From door to sand is less than a minute walk making it easy to head back in for lunch or a nap.

This location is one of the best locations in the Seagrove area. Situated between 2 lakes south of 30a, there is very little traffic. The house is located in a gated community on a small cul-de-sac off a dead end road making it ideal for little ones to have fun cycling. Ample bike paths great for rides to the Seagrove area restaurants and shopping; or ride on to Seaside for more activities. Also, Deer Lake State Park is within walking distance and has many trails to explore. Deer Lake is a rare coastal dune lake only found a few places in the world!

Located approximately half way between Panama City and Destin, you have less than a 30-minute drive to either destination. Gulf fishing is available in both along with a large variety of shopping and other activities.

Wonderful pool

The house was large but lacked in bathrooms. 6 teens using one bathroom which contained the washer/dryer also! Not convenient. The kitchen was well stocked and dining table fit all 12 of us. There were two large king bedrooms with beautiful bathrooms, upstairs. The in-law suite was connected to the garage. My husband and I shared the king bed and my sister slept on the pull out sofa. We all shared a tiny bathroom which was attached the the bedroom.At night she had to go through our sleeping space to use the toilet. The space contained a small kitchenette. However, we could not get upstairs where the rest of the family was located WITHOUT going outside and up approximately 15 steps to deck outside main level. When it rained, there was no way to get to family without getting soaked. It rained about everyday. Not all day but it rained. Now, THE POOL was awesome. Large enough to accommodate all of us at one time. We loved it. Plenty of chairs and floats. The beach was so so at this location. The walk was short. But not a clean beach. Saw no Walton county cleaning the beaches. Very crowded, too.

Great beach house for big family holiday gathering!

This property was a great place for our family for a thanksgiving get together! There was plenty of room for all of us, and the owners provided everything we needed for our stay, including bikes, paddle boards, plenty of dishes, etc. It was also in a great location - steps from the beach. I'd highly recommend this house!

Great beach house

This house was great for large families. We had a family of 15. Kids loved the bunk room. Short walk to the beach. Pool in the backyard was awesome. Lights at night made it look spectacular!! Home owner was in constant contact with me making sure everything was perfect for our stay. I would highly recommend this home!!

Fantastic time at Daniel Dunes. We have been doing yearly trips to the area for the past few years. Daniel Dunes has tons to offer. The outdoor amenities were plenty. We used them all. Bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing poles, beach cart etc! Daily swimming, fishing, beach trips were had. The proximity to the beach is perfect! Front area was used for soccer, baseball and football! Locally, we visited the shaved ice shop a few times, Khave and Cream, and went to dinner at Beachcamp brewery. Marina (host) is great and easy to work with. Timely responses and a great source of information. We enjoyed this part of 30A more than the “busier” sections that we’ve stayed at previously. Hoping for a repeat 2024 adventure!

Wonderful house with an amazing location!

We loved our stay here at Daniel Dunes!! We have never been to this area of Florida and immediately fell in LOVE. The location of this house is great and we felt so welcomed from the moment we stepped in the door. We rented a golf cart and spent days going to Seaside for lunch and adventuring around the area. Our children spent tons of time in the warm pool and kayaking in the lake. Our favorite spot in the house had to be the porch swing. The sunset from there is UNREAL. We definitely will be back to 30A and will forever cherish our memories in this house. Thank you so much for being such a great host! :)

TONS OF EXTRAS!

Daniel Dunes is loaded with lots of extra fun for families. There is a swimming pool that can be heated, a lake in the back with a private dock for dishing, a grill which we used for 3 meals, 4 kayaks, plenty of adults’ & children’s bikes, lots of beach chairs & beach umbrellas. There is a bed-sized porch swing overlooking the Gulf which is great for naps. We rented for Thanksgiving & were delighted to see 2 refrigerator/freezers and a double oven to hold & bake our Thanksgiving dinner. The owners could not be a nicer person to rent from. They make their guests feel very special.

50th anniversary celebration

This beach house is very functional. It has everything that it advertises except "2 minutes from front door to water". It is more like 10 minutes. The owner is exceptionally nice and helpful. However the pictures on the website show a stunning home and this house is on the shabby side. The furniture is beat up, pillows need to be replaced ( at least in the mother in law suite) and the cupboards need to be cleaned out to remove broken or unusable dishes. For example there is the bottom of a blender but no top portion for it. The beach cart is a life saver and wonderful to use. The garage is pretty cluttered and we set aside 3 broken beach chairs. However there was plenty of water and sand toys to accommodate most anyone's needs. We also enjoyed the ping pong table except because the garage was so crowded it was hard to play. Overall we had a wonderful time and as I mentioned it had everything we needed for the week. I guess we were disappointed upon seeing the house after seeing the pictures online and the reviews of others that had used the house.

This home is a great place for all! It has a separate suite for a grandparent couple or a couple with small children on a nap early evening sleeping pattern. The garage is a “toy store” for the beach!!!! Couldn’t have been better! Walk to the beach easy. Would recommend!!!!

Perfect Spot

We have been coming to the South Walton area for the past 10 years and stayed in many different neighborhoods. We finally found our favorite! Seagrove Beach is secluded enough where the beaches aren't crowded, but still close enough to bike to restaurants and shops. Daniel Dunes had so many extras that we can't think about ever renting anywhere else again. I could list everything out, but just go stay there-you won't be disappointed! Marina is great to work with and VERY responsive! We texted her as we were driving for dining suggestions and within a minute she texted us back with several of her favorites. She is passionate about the area and it really showed in our conversations. We already referred our friends who are staying later this summer! Views make this house!

We were pleasantly surprised how nice the views were from Daniel Dunes. Also, it was really nice to be on a dead end so the kids could play without many cars driving, and it was much quieter than other areas. Seaside and Rosemary beach were just a short drive, so we ended up renting a golf cart since we saw so many others did so as well. The house is very well stocked with everything we needed, and just a short walk to the beach. Marina at 30A Guest is very good with communicating quickly whenever we had any questions. Thanks for a great stay!

Great for families

This was a great home and set up for our group. The home came with extras like bikes and boogie boards that helped make our beach vacation even better. The pool was a tremendous hit for our kids and the walk to the beach was not bad at all. We worked directly with the owners and they were fantastic and on top of anything that we needed.

Daniel Dunes Paradise!!

We had a wonderful vacation at Daniel Dunes. Marina was very responsive to all of our questions leading up to and during our stay. The house was very clean when we arrived and we were able to check in early which was perfect. The house has everything a large group needs, including all the goodies in the garage – bicycles for our whole group were a pleasant surprise! Marina has thought of everything! The house is a very short walk to the beach which was good since we had our parents with us so they could enjoy the beach as well. As others have noted, the beach cart at the house is the most amazing thing-easy to push across the sand and huge to carry everything we needed. The views from every room are amazing. We also enjoyed the celebrities that live nearby-we could watch from the deck! Thanks for letting us stay in your piece of paradise!!

As close to gulf front as you can get without the gulf front prices!

The best thing about Daniel Dunes is how close you really are to the gulf! We were thrilled when we drove up to find the beach only steps away and the views from almost every room were wonderful! The house has lots of covered decks all the way around with so much great outdoor furniture that we could all sit out on the decks to enjoy sunsets together, and there were 17 of us! The pool was a nice retreat from the days at the beach and it is SOOO private with the lake behind it which makes such a beautiful setting. We ended up taking lots of family photos in front of the lake behind the house. Marina provides so many things in the garage for renters to use which makes this house a BARGAIN! And, that beach cart is absolutely AMAZING!!! We were the envy of everyone around us and many took pictures of it to find where it was purchased-you may need to get some commissions from that company! We had such a great time and will definitely be back!

Gulf Views Sold Us on Daniel Dunes

Thank you so much for allowing us to vacation in your home! We had four families staying and everyone agreed this has been our favorite house in the area. I can't say enough about the views! We watched the sunrise and sunset every day from the decks (upper decks off the masters are my favorite). The owner is great to work with, and gave us suggestions on places to eat and other things to do on the 1 rainy day we had. Everyone on the beach was so jealous of the fabulous beach cart which made bringing everything to the beach super easy, and the fact it even has umbrella holders in it was over the top! Everything about this house is well thought out and the owners have so much fun stuff included that would have been unaffordable for us to rent. Perfect Vacation!
