Welcome to Shady Pineapple! This 3-story luxurious home is 2–3-minute walk (5 houses away) to the beach and features a heated private pool, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and close proximity to Stinky’s Fish Camp, Shunk Gulley’s and Gulf Place! The beach access is just at the end of the street and has no car parking which makes it less busy and one of the best access! Enjoy partial gulf views from the second and third story balconies!

This home's best feature is the county owned beach access just steps away. It does offer very limited parking so it doesn't get as busy as other accesses as it is mostly visitors within walking distance!

DETAILS:
This gorgeous new home is set up for pure enjoyment for everyone in your family in beautiful Dune Allen Beach! Featuring 5 bedrooms, 5 ½ bathrooms and accommodations for 16, making the Shady Pineapple the dream vacation. Walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes (1 block) or walk to Gulf Place (approx. 1 mile) or stay home and enjoy the gas grill, heated private pool (can be heated for additional fee) or make a bonfire to enjoy all evening!

The first floor features shiplap walls with professional décor and is flooded with natural light for everyone to enjoy with an open floorplan featuring a gourmet kitchen with an oversized island featuring quartz countertop and wolf gas range, an ice maker to fill up your cooler and a spacious living room, and dining room area. The private pool has lounge chairs and a hammock surrounding it with a privacy fence for pure enjoyment. There is a pool alarm on the French doors leaving the house.

The second floor features suite that boasts king size bed, a balcony with a partial gulf views, private bathroom with shower. The second master bedroom features a king-size bed with a private bath that features a shower. The third bedroom features two full-size beds with a private bathroom that features a shower and tub combo.

The third floor features an amazing gathering space that offers a sofa sleeper couch, a table for games and a wet bar. All of this space is adjoining to an oversized balcony to enjoy with partial gulf view. The fifth bedroom features a king-size bed with a private bathroom that has a shower and tub combo.

When you're not at the beach that is one block away (less than a 5-minute walk) you can dip into the pool or relax poolside in one of the chaise lounges chairs! This luxury beach home is set up to enjoy all evening too! If you don't want to walk to Gulf Place for dinner, you can grill out in the backyard and enjoy your own private bonfire in the fire pit.

There is approximately 4 parking spots. There is also an attached garage that will have beach chairs, sand toys and bicycles that are available for your use. Due to damage and missing items, the contents are continually changing. We also provide beach towels!

Very spacious home with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and the frig/freezer were huge. The backyard outdoor space was perfect. We enjoyed the heated pool, the firepit, and the backyard games. The golf cart and bikes were also great. The garage has many items for you to use at the beach which was just a block away. We definitely recommend staying here!

This is a beautiful house, the bedroom / baths were perfect for us. Owner communicated very quickly and gave us the info we needed. A couple items could be updated: family room furniture is very uncomfortable and not enough seating for the house. There were no storage containers in the kitchen for leftovers. The outdoor ping pong table was very old and not useable. This property had a brand-new golf cart and was very close to the beach, we loved staying here. A lot of thought into everything else in this property.

Perfect home for large families- plenty of room and activities available for all age groups. Everything you need is there - so nice to have towels for the pool available. Home was clean and well supplied. Definitely recommend this beautiful home as close to beach and wonderful backyard with pool.

Overall the property is nice. Checkin was late after 4 and checkout was ten. I feel like a day was lost. Beach towels had to be washed before leaving. I would think a service would do that to ensure they are deep cleaned.

Great location and very responsive hosts! The layout of the house was great for bigger groups of people. Loved having access to the golf cart and bikes on site! Only small downfall- the shower water never gets warm (there’s a sign in the bathroom telling you to turn the showers on then go out on a run and come back and it will be warm). Overall great experience!

Family vacation

Very nice house with a short walk to the beach. Golf cart is new and was fun for short trips. Our kiddos loved the pool as well as the small turf area for playing. I enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and felt very safe there. We had plenty of space for our three families to spread out, and the big kitchen allowed for several of us to be in there at once. This property was a great location for our annual family beach vacation.

Exceeded Expectations!!

This house and location could not have been any better! The first floor kitchen/dining/living area was perfect for family night devotions, conversations and card games. The pool area was just off the main living area close to the kitchen making it easy for lunches and snacks out by the pool. The sun shelf was a plus for the little one! Lots of seating by the pool and the older kids enjoyed many games of ping pong and corn hole! The turf grass was awesome! No stickers so you could walk around barefoot! We were shocked to find a garage stocked with bicycles, pool floats, 8-10 beach chairs, lots of beach towels, umbrella, beach wagon, cooler on wheels and many other things that I’m sure I’m missing! The house was an easy 5 minute or less walk with great access to the beach at the end of the street. Older kids and adults enjoyed the coffee shop and breakfast burritos at cafe amore about 1 mile down 30a. By golf cart it only took a few minutes to get there. We’re not big seafood fans so we tried Mimmo’s Italian a 5-10 min drive and it was a fan favorite! My only suggestions would be to put TV back on porch. In the pictures it shows a TV but it was not there during our stay. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with glasses, dishes and utensils but we needed large pots and pans for feeding our large crowd. Would also recommend a complete knife set. We didn’t have enough for steak dinner night! Otherwise our week could not have been more perfect! Book this house!

The ultimate home for a Family getaway!

This was our second stay in this home with our children and grandchildren and we can't say enough about how much we love our time here. The amenities of this property saved our vacation due the beach being double red flagged throughout the majority of our stay, due to weather conditions. A few of our favorite things about this property is that there is plenty of areas for everyone to have their space, the fabulous gourmet kitchen, the outdoor space / pool area and the close proximity to the beach. We also enjoyed walks and bike rides with our grandchildren around oyster lake.

Gorgeous Vacation Home!

This house was in the perfect location and provided us with everything we needed! It was well stocked. The extra pool towels were a plus! Having an umbrella in the pool worked out great for those who still wanted to be in the water but not the sun. We will definitely book this gorgeous house again!

Great spot for multiple families!

Had a wonderful time with two families (9 people) staying at the property. Hosts were great and very on top of communication, as was the property manager. House was clean and had plenty of space, including room for several more than we had. Just a few blocks to beach access. Backyard area with pool, turf, fire pit, and covered back porch is among the best you’ll find on 30A. Would definitely stay here again!

This home was perfect for our family getaway. We hired a private chef, and the kitchen fully accommodated the chef’s needs. Perfect location for our beach bonfire. The property owners were very kind and responsive for all of our needs. Check in process was easy, with no issues. 10/10. Great stay!

The home is very nice, however some unfortunate issues popped up that we had to deal with. Main Freezer in kitchen, not working, freezer alarm peeping throughout the week and had to daily mop up the water on the floor, because of a toddler was a bit annoying. Had to use freezer in garage. Not a big issue but it was much smaller and we had a big crew. Also, one hot water heater broke early in our week, owner fixed it as quickly as he could but meant no hot showers for us till the day before we were leaving. Bummer but it happens. And the top floor gets uncomfortably hot, there is AC but it does not make a difference, it was very hot there for the people who used the beds on the 3rd floor. I realize things break, so can’t

Family vacation

This property is very impressive. I have been booking vacation houses all across the East coast for almost 20 years. This the the first place I would definitely stay again. It has a wonderful outdoor area The pool is large and there are plenty of seats surrounding it. We grilled a couple nights and that was great. The kitchen has the best island and refrigerator I have experienced. I had occasion to speak to the owners and they were very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this rental

The week was great…the house is beautiful, the pool and backyard/porch/grill were perfect. All bedrooms worked great for our family with kids age 2 Mon-7years old. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The beach was an easy walk. We would definitely stay here again. Only issue was the house code we were given never did work so we used the property managers code (he provided) without any problems.

Fun and Generously Accomodating across Three Generations

We visitied with our Daughter/Son-in-law and their three children (ages 3-5-8) and their other grandparents. The house had all of the accomodations for an active famiy, plenty of space for together time and also areas for quiet quiet time when needed. It was also convenient that each floor has it's own thermostat to suit varying comfort levels. We also enjoyed the breeze from the balconies. Loved the gourmet kitchen, bicycling around the neighborhood, close proximety to some of our favorite places to eat. We loved this lovely home and location so much that we booked it again for next year within the week of our return home.

Beautiful Property

My family and I had a great time. Beautiful property with an amazing backyard. The kids played in the pool and loved the turf yard to play catch with the football. Minute or so walk to the beach with an access point that does not get busy. Only complaint is my wife says this is the new standard and properties this great are hard to find! Ha! Would for sure book again!

Fall Break 2023

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house was as described with plenty of things for the entire family to do. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beautiful beach. Played corn hole and enjoyed the firepit. The back yard and porch area was a big hit with everyone. The beach equipment and the bicycles was awesome. We grilled and cooked several meals with everything you needed. The house is beautiful and everything detail was thought of for a wonderful stay. Hopefully we can return on another adventure someday.

Fall Break 2023

We had a delightful Fall Break at this property. The house and amenities were as described in the listing. It was nice to have a pool when the kids were ready to return home from the beach and relax before dinner. We cooked most meals at home and enjoyed our dinners on the porch. After dinner, we did smore's at the fire pit while the kids did night swimming. It was a short walk to the beach, but we did rent a golf cart, which helped with shuffling kids and beach equipment back and forth. The homeowners provided great communication and follow-up after our stay. I would stay at this property again and most certainly recommend it for your stay.

Great house for Family Vacation
