So quaint and relaxing, very comfy bed and pillows. Walking distance restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, right across is the Smart train which can be a convenient way of travel, also shopping mall very near. We walked to Stark’s Steakhouse & Seafood and it was SOOOOO DELICIOUS & yummy drinks!! this alone made my stay worth it… being able to walk to antique shops and other places and free parking on the street during the weekend is a plus! Only thing I wish for was a curtain that blocked the light entering room in the night.

The hotel is lovely and comfortable. I felt welcomed by staff and safe at the hotel and in the neighborhood. The two coffee shops adjacent or across the street are super convenient and good.

Mini Vacation and Adventure

We were in Santa Rosa for a gathering with friends and last minute decided to book a room and stay the night. The location of this property was perfect, easy parking, exceptional staff, and the carriage house room was spacious with plenty of storage for a longer stay. We so thoroughly enjoyed the adventure that we will come back and this time, take the train! Lots to do in the vicinity. Grossman's, the attached restaurant offered delicious bites and super welcoming staff. Just all around, TERRIFIC.

Hotel was clean and room was huge. Got jr suite with king bed, couch, table, arm chair and desk. Employees all very friendly and upbeat. Even though it is a vintage hotel 1907, it didn’t smell, didn’t need maintenance and it even had an elevator!!! !!!

Great property, friendly and helpful staff. My only feedback is that the lack of a mini fridge in the unit was tough with a young child (for storing milk and baby food for example). Outside of this a very seamless stay.

If you like the feel 9f historic hotels, this is great. Built in 1907 with lots of historic charm. We had a comfortable king bed with a nice sized room. Staff was great. It was a good home base for a day trip to Bodega bay and wine country.
