Inside, it is divided between 2 double bedrooms and a mezzanine that can accommodate 4 people. On the ground floor the nice living room and kitchen are arranged in open space in order to promote socializing among all.

Outside you can find a barbecue properly equipped and with a beautiful view over the valley!

The location of the house is great for those who want to feel like a real local since it is in the most rural and remote areas of the island. In Fajã Grande you can visit one of the oldest and most romantic bridges of the whole island, known as Ponte Velha, several viewpoints such as Miradouro do Encontro or Miradouro do Cabouco are also very close to the house.

Just a few minutes drive away you can be in the heart of the Laurissilva Forest in Ribeiro Frio area. Levadas such as Os Balcões, Portela and even Chão das Feiteiras are just some of the trails that surround this area.

On the other hand, Faial is also part of Santana, which is a must-see place for all who visit us, whether for the typical and unmistakable Santana houses, the local cuisine, or the calmness that surrounds these lands.

Another area with growing popularity is the parish of Porto da Cruz where surfers, tourists and locals enjoy its rebellious nature and beautiful beaches.

One of the best ways to get to know these less explored parts is undoubtedly by 4x4 off-road tracks. However, car rental is recommended for the day to day.
