The property is modern and has significant potential; however, several issues significantly impacted the comfort of our stay. The room became extremely bright early in the morning due to insufficient blackout curtains, waking us much earlier than planned. The excessive daylight also made it difficult to use the television during the day, as the screen was very difficult to see. In addition, no dish soap was provided in the kitchen, which made basic use of the space inconvenient. We were also unable to use the pool, as it was extremely cold and did not appear heated. Lastly, cleanliness upon arrival was concerning. We found a used bar of soap in the bathroom, which raised concerns about whether the room had been properly cleaned before check-in. Given these issues, we feel the stay did not fully meet expectations, but the staff was very nice!

This hotel is nice, but the room and the living room are too bright. You can't watch TV because it's so bright, and the sun wakes you up early because there are no shutters. The pool is too cold; they need to install heaters. And I have switched from the regular room to the superior room, and there's only one TV in the living room, no TV in the room. The phone in the room does not work.

I have stayed at Aston Rubi Suites multiple times, and the main reason I continued returning was because of the exceptional service provided by one employee, Sebastian. As a guest who does not speak Spanish, he consistently went above and beyond to help me communicate, feel comfortable, and enjoy my stay. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication truly represented what hospitality should be. I was extremely disappointed to learn that Sebastian was terminated for coming to my room. Had I known this was against hotel policy, I would have never asked or allowed it. There was no misconduct from my perspective, and it is troubling that he was allegedly fired without any warning especially around the Christmas holiday, which makes the situation feel even more unjust and poorly handled. I reached out to hotel management directly to discuss this matter and express my concerns, yet I have received no response. This lack of communication and accountability from management is unacceptable. The positive experiences at this hotel came from the hardworking staff who truly care about guests not from management decisions or leadership. Because of how this situation was handled, my perception of Aston Rubi Suites has changed significantly. I will continue to advocate through appropriate channels for this decision to be reviewed, as I strongly believe Sebastian deserves reinstatement or, at minimum, a fair reassessment. It is unfortunate that such a loyal, hardworking employee was lost

I love my stay at Aston Rubi. Check-in was very quick. The apartment was clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need for your stay. My only suggestion is for them to have a toaster in the kitchen. Other than that everything was great. There is parking on the property and the location is excellent, close to a lot of restaurants.

The staff is phenomenal. They are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and kind. The public spaces are clean. The rooms are satisfactory. There was bits of toilet paper around the drain, indicating a previous toilet mess? We were placed on the second floor and it was OK.

It took forever at check in as there was no one on site to receive us with two other guests waiting to have help. Finally when brought to our rooms, we were told laundry detergent would be brought up but none was provided. The bathroom had lip liner shavings on the ground along with lip liner remnants on the bathroom floor. Upon checkout, I was oddly threatened that money would be taken out from the deposit if there were issues with the room but we were checking out at 6am to catch a 930 flight. We were only there one night due to a plane delay up to 8 hours with two toddlers. My husband found this “5 star hotel” which was actually an apart hotel which you needed everything for like laundry detergent, soap and coffee
