Staff was very unpleasant especially Ernesto manager was yelling at me when i was filling complaint about not working tv in the room there were 2 adults one child and we had only 2 towels. Rooms were cleaned but very outdated. Food was okay dining area very dirty tables especially when i asked to clean table i got yelled by employee and when asked for silverware i was told to first sit down to get it. Parking was impossible to use because people from city who came to the beach used that and the staff told us to drive 3 blocks down to park which we refused because we paid for hotel with parking on a side. I would never stay there again

It’s everything anyone could need and want. Staff are very friendly and attentive, rooms are cleaned daily. Food was good and for Xmas and New Year they really made it special! It’s right on the beach with private beach, loungers and umbrellas. Two swimming pools and 2 bars. WiFi is available. The only issue we had was limited WiFi in the room which was fixed towards end of our stay and very loud music in the pool bars and especially after 9pm in entertainment area. Also there is very busy bar restaurant just next to hotel that plays loud music at night and significant amount of visitors adds to level of noice

Although my room didn’t have a view, the overall experience at the hotel was delightful. The place itself was charming, and the staff couldn’t have been any friendlier. At the buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, they kept everything spotless, clearing and cleaning after every meal with remarkable attention to detail. My only downside was that I expected more entertainment and opportunities for guest participation after meals or at the pool. Despite that, the cleanliness, service, and welcoming atmosphere made my stay truly enjoyable.

Whala! Is very dated. The pictures were taken a long time ago it doesn’t look like that now. Staff do not speak English so check in was a challenge. It’s all inclusive but in the drinks area there’s no Coke Zero, no Fanta, no sprite, just juices and basic alcohol. No labels! The staff have very little enthusiasm. The shop on sight has no prices the young boy makes them up as he goes along as how can someone actually remember the price of a whole shop? The pool area was cleaned daily but the water always seemed murky. There is plenty of space but not enough beds. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, the shower was sometimes hot but often cold. The rooms were cleaned daily and to a high standard but the rooms are so dated. The front door is made of single pain glass which didn’t seem safe to us. On arrival you get two small bottles of water but then this is never replenished so you need to buy water. The food was limited and basic so we ate outside the hotel. I will not return to whala! It needs a big injection of money to update it.
