Stravoula was amazing!!

Stravoula, the hostess, is fantastic!! The house was spotless and the maid service was impeccable! We did not sleep in the loft, but, it was a very cute space, light and bright. Three of the other four bedrooms were very comfortable and we slept well in them. Unfortunately, the fourth bedroom and laundry room, felt damp and smelled of dampness and mildew. Which was bad for me because I have a mold allergy. Luckily one of my friends took the room so I didn’t have to be in it. The home did have everything one would need for a comfortable vacation, washer (bring your own soap) dryer, coffee maker, hair dryers, dishwasher etc. The pool was beautiful, you could catch glimpses of the Aegean through the flowering bushes. It was light, bright, sunny and I would have given it a full happy smile were it not for the fourth bedroom. As far as location, Messaria is a cute little town located near Pyrgos, Ancient Thira, the excavations and Nikola’s Cave. You do need your own transportation if you stay here as nothing but the town of Messaria is within walking distance. If you are in Santorini for night life stay in Fira, or Oia. But, Messaria is was fine for our stay.
