*VERY DISAPPOINTED* We didn’t have a good experience unfortunately. The property is very tired and in desperate need of refurbishment and attention. Rusty railings. Pool is dirty/sides covered in green algae. Sunbeds are worn and very dirty with, bad sewage smell in the room. Safety hazard with slippery floors painted in gloss, which caused both myself and my daughter to slip. The water around the pool has nowhere to drain and just pools by the pool entrance. The property is supposed to be for guests of 14 years, however there was a 10 year old child jumping into the pool splashing everyone, far from the peaceful ‘haven’ that was advertised. The noise from the road is quite bad as the area around the hotel is quite open, especially in the afternoons. Wooden bikes were not available/are not there, the ‘gym’ was a joke - literally a few weights and a wooden bench next to the pool. Not sure you can call that a gym! The mattress in our room was badly worn with ‘dips’/sagging in the middle. Needless to say we didn’t sleep and now suffering with back as a result. Air con is hit & miss. We requested to leave after the first night, however as we prepaid the hotel quoted their non-refundable ‘policy’

Lovely staff, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and looked after. The location was lovely, away from the main towns of Oia and Thira, but beautiful sunset and very quiet. The hotel food was limited but delicious. I couldn’t recommend staying here more if you visit Santorini, but would recommend a car.

We adored our stay here. Arriving at the port and coming through very busy Thira we were desperate for some peace and serenity - and Coco Mat is perfect for that. It’s away from the wild Santorini crowds but still has the spectacular views. It is peaceful and beautiful and has enough local restaurants / activities to keep you busy if you want or you can literally sit by the pool and just read a book. We loved the staff who were all so friendly and the little rescue dog Coco was so sweet greeting us at breakfast every morning

Es sind die MENSCHEN die ein Hotel gut machen. Oder sehr gut. Ich habe so etwas selten erlebt - und ich habe schon viele Hotels in der ganzen Welt gesehen - aber die Freundlichkeit des Personals war einzigartig. Egal wann, ob Frühstück, Snack am Pool oder Abendessen. Ich hatte immer das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Es wirkte nie aufgesetzt. Es ist eine Oase der Ruhe. Von hier aus kann man viel unternehmen, oder am Pool die Seele baumeln lassen. Und wenn es mal zu warm wird: dann bekommt man eine Flasche Wasser an den Pool gebracht. Es ist ein besonderer Ort. Ein cooler Ort (Musik im Hintergrund). Mit viel Wärme. Abzug gibt es im Zimmer. Sie sind großzügig, sauber, modern. Leider sind im Bad die Armaturen schon ziemlich verrostet und es muffelt etwas. Was ich nicht verstehe ist, warum die Wege mit grauer Lackfarbe gestrichen wurden. Das schaut toll aus, ist bei Hitze (im Sommer häufig) kaum begehbar und wirft Blasen, bei Feuchtigkeit rutschig.

Tolles kleines Hotel mit exzellenter Führung. Personal ist super nett, liest den Gästen mit einer Selbstverständlichkeit alle Wünsche von den Lippen ab. Traumhafte ruhige Lage abseits vom Trubel, schöner Pool & viel Platz für die Gäste. Das Frühstück war ein tägliches Highlight!!

Sehr schöne und vor allem ruhige Unterkunft. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich uns hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück und der Service beim Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet. Unser Zimmer mit privatem Pool, der beheizt ist, war sehr schön. Wir haben nur eine kleine Kritik, und zwar roch es teilweise ganz übel aus dem Badezimmer. Wir vermuten, dass das aus den Abflüssen kam. Alles in Allem ein ganz schönes Hotel mit top gepflegter Anlage und tollen Angestellten.
