Arrived late at night as got off the ferry from athens (suggest not to take ferry and go via plane if you got the option and you can afford it). Took a bus rather than a taxi to hotel from port. Much cheaper, was like 2.50 euro per person. 5 minute walk to hotel from bus stop which was great.
As it was at night, there was not much heat, but If you're dragging luggage during the day, your walks feel a lot longer, especially when no footpaths besides close to the hotel on opposite side of road.
Hotel was beautiful, staff were friendly, great amenities. Wonderful buffet breakfast.
As so close to the city centre, so easy to walk there. However suggest carrying water with you whenever you go. Supermarket in between city centre and hotel so easy to stock up.
Definately would recommend the hotel as it was lovely. However if you're out all the time walking around the shops and lanes etc (like we were), it may defeat the purpose paying their prices. However if that close to city centre, not sure what the other places charge. So unsure what we will do if we come back to Fira, Santorini

Less than ordinary, no attention to detail
We were told to not drink the water and we were not supplied with bottled water. No mini bar or tea or coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was very ordinary. The linen was thin and old and the beds hard and pillows lumpy. Our safe wasn't even fixed so anyone could have carried it away.

Great resort , short walk to Fira the prices were very reasonable and food nice. Sunset on the cliff top restaurants was amazing
